BEST BET: RACE 8, REINING IN

FIRST RACE

MACHO BOURBON was a wide-stalking third behind the future OS stakes winner Sav when returning from a layoff of nearly three months Oct. 14. She should be sharper this time under leading Da Silva, who’s 2 for 5 at the meet for trainer Tony Gattellaro. SHE’S GOT FIRE is dropping off a fifth in a quality OS stakes won by She’s The Berries, who narrowly lost her next start in the G3 Maple Leaf. MYSTIC NILE benefited from an inside bias when a non-threatening fifth in tougher second-level optional-claiming company in her latest.

SECOND RACE

THIRD RACE

BOSSALINA rallied wide from off slow splits over an inside-favoring track to win her maiden going away last time in her third route try. She’s turning back to seven-eighths in this NW2 tilt, and could double up with her confidence on a high. MUSKOKA DANCER is adding blinkers and could take this field a long way, in a field without much speed.

FOURTH RACE

COLONEL TALBOT is descending from N1X allowance company to this much easier $25K NW2 route. The son of Street Sense is being reunited with Wilson, who broke his maiden over this course and distance July 7. FLASHYMEISTER closed three-wide to finish a distant second over an inside-biased track against easier NW2 opposi
