BEST BET: RACE 9, WIN WITH PRIDE

FIRST RACE

Assuming all races will be on the turf when going to press on Thursday. POLICY OPTION comes up tagged and gelded off the long layoff, hasn’t missed a beat in the a.m.. Winner of his debut subsequently stakes placed and can be seen in main event later today. TIME FOR TROUBLE gets blinkers on for third start of his form cycle while also dropping in with claimers today. Recent turf works decent if not spectacular prepping for this. Ran second behind wire to wire and subsequent stakes placed sprinter in bow. GENERAL MATHIS tossed in strictly as a pace and price play. Has the speed to control things on front end with this group. Might get brave, hold for at least a share if able to slow things down on the lead.

SECOND RACE

FULMINI has shown speed in the a.m. up at PM for Maker barn prepping for debut, might be the right one in this hard to gauge mix of first time starters. TRICK SHOT has a bullet on his light resume’ and is kin to multiple G3 placed Zimba Warrior. BOOMER has been well prepared for bow with plenty of works under his belt, the last of which was arguably the best. Big Daddy Dave showed promise from gate on 5/8 and is a half to Lure Him In, a winner of his first two career starts.

THIRD RACE

NOTHINS FREE taking on much easier bunch then he faced first off the claim on 5/8 when catching likes of Enlisting, now in the midst of a three race win streak and in form Tiz Possible Dear. Might not look back in this spot. TROPICALITY beat N3L company several months earlier, been over-matched in two subsequent tries. Might have best late run should preferred choice falter again. GRACE’S DRAMA has hit the trifect in five of last seven with this same kind. Can take at least another minor share.

FOURTH RACE

OCEAN AIR ran well at first asking from tough post and must overcome similar issue the second time around. Runner-up in her last came back to win on dirt as even money favorite and like the fact Irad has signed on. Well bred for the going. Will likely have to out-kick NORTH BROADWAY who is the logical choice having finished fourth in key race from which top two finishers returned to win their next starts and which was marred by a spill along the way. UNDER THE OAKS the preferred one’s un-coupled mate and the first foal of the G1 place Maybellene.

FIFTH RACE

BABY ICE over-matched in both starts off the claim since defeating this same kind on 3/13. Should get honest pace to run at if SUZ and ROYALLY COOL both go. Former adds blinkers and working well with for the equation. May ultimately prove one to catch if away cleanly from rail under Paco.

SIXTH RACE

UNION LANE dueled while trapped on dead rail last time making first start vs. winners on a sloppy track. Re-unites with Vasquez, who guided her to maiden win four weeks earlier. SAMOA another with plenty of early foot, figures to force issue throughout. FIAMMA MAMMA another who will be forwardly placed from outset. Did benefit from

racing in better part of track when getting better part of preferred choice in their previous meeting.

SEVENTH RACE

SAY ADIOS comes off arguably her best yet when second best behind class dropping R Kiss Em Goodbye. Not facing that kind on drop to this level. MISS MARIS been freshened a bit but has not missed beat in a.m.of late. Might offer some value returniing for this tag for first time since early in the fall. TRANS MISSISSIPPI also getting plenty of class relief for local bow. Blew out nicely for this.

EIGHTH RACE

DOMINATE THEMOMENT offered as a price alternative to likely favorite and logical choice VENEZUELAN HUG. Former did not get the best of trips in his last after posting pair of wins at the starter level and the lone 3 time winner in this field. Venezuelan Hug circled field, turned in monster effort off the claim for current connections, just a matter of whether he regresses off the huge showing at a short price. LETS PLAY HARDBALL another who returned quick dividends off the claim winning maiden for high tag for Maker barn. Continues to training forwardly for first venture into winners ranks.

NINTH RACE

WIN WITH PRIDE, the day’s best, claimed in N Y in February, shows up locally for the first time and training well for the occasions. Might have enough speed to wire these for Irad. CAJUN FIRECRACKER drops in price off the claim after fading late as one of the choices under a $50K tag in his latest. YODEL E. A. WHO appears to have tailed off of late but might fit on yet another drop with this company. Now a beaten favorite in four of last five starts.

TENTH RACE

Solid bunch in today’s main event. MYSTIC LANCELOT a bit of a hanging sort of late but training forwardly since his last, figures forwardly placed from outset along with Unconquered Lea. OUR COUNTRY graded stakes placed and strictly the class of the field. Did not get a clean run making 3yo bow at Tampa, has since been gelded and certainly deserving of another chance with this kind. UNCONQUERED LEA much improved since switched to turf. Out-finished preferred choice in their previous meeting.

ELEVENTH RACE

POWER LIGHTLY lightly raced and certainly capable of moving forward again off promising show, this level, last time from compromising post position. Much more favorable drawn here. BELLAS FELLA exits his best yet when returning to the lawn, repeat effort good enough to earn diploma with this group. DREAMMASTER has not hit board in 11 tries but showed improvement two back when last trying the turf.
