THIRD RACE

-

ETANA picks up a bit more real estate with the move to a mile and a sixteenth and she seems like one who will make good use of the ground, based on her most recent start. She also has class appeal as one who was third against steeper last out. BLOSSOM BOW is back on dirt after the turf start and her maiden win came over the main track at Gulfstream. She seeks her first win at two turns and gets good pedigree support for the trip Saturday. FIAMMA MAMMA seems best judged on some of her prior races.

FOURTH RACE

FLORADO represented herself well last out in her first start against older rivals and note that race has become a key one. The runner-up returned in her next start to account for a $50K maiden claimer at CD with a Beyer of 69; the third-place finisher, a $40K maiden claimer at Bel, with a Beyer of 68; and the fifth-place finisher, Miss Flying Sun, a $25K maiden claimer at GP, with a Beyer of 58. LETSNOTGETOEXCITED has fired two competitive races over the Gulfstream turf in her last two starts and appears to be working her way into the winner’s circle. She has an age edge on top choice as she is 4. OUR FANTASY meets older rivals for the first time, but most of the starters in this field are 3. As for the race she exits, it has become a key one. The sixth-place finisher, R U Royalty, returned in her next start to account for a maiden allowance at GP with a Beyer of 66 and the ninth-place finisher, El Scorcho, a $12.5K maiden claimer at GP, with a Beyer of 61.

FIFTH RACE

COMMANDING LADY has moved forward with each of her recent starts and could be sitting on a peak effort in her third out since February. She also can be closer to the pace than a number of her rivals, which could give her a tactical advantage. VICTORY CRUSADE adds blinkers off a runner-up finish against similar. PERFECTCOMBINATION has an age edge on top two as she is 4.

SIXTH RACE

GRACE’S DRAMA, who is a seven-time winner over the main track at Gulfstream Park, seeks to turn the tables on NOWITNA RIVER. The pair ran onetwo for this price last out. DESCENTE owns the field’s best last-race Beyer Figure, for a romping win against steeper at Gulfstream.

SEVENTH RACE

NOBODYKNOWSNOTHIN knows sprinting on turf. He put up his best Beyer Speed Figure under such

“conditions” and the effort came over the Gulfstream course he returns to Saturday. FAYEZ cuts back to five-eighths off the mile start in which he showed speed. VALID EXCHANGE was third last out in a key race. The fourth-place finisher, Gran Old Parr, came back in his next start to account for a $12.5K maiden claimer at GP with a Beyer of 71 and the seventh-place finisher, Atakan, another $12.5K maiden claimer at GP, with a Beyer of 62.

EIGHTH RACE

SWEET MIA is proven at this seven-eighths of a mile trip and is further appealing for her consistent nature. She has speed, too, and draws a post that might give Zayas options. MONEY NEVER SLEEPS is from a Grade 3-winning mare who ran out $324K. This one also is proven at seven furlongs and brings tactical speed to the table. DON’T GET KHOZY is appealing as a four-time winner facing some less-experienced rivals.

NINTH RACE

MYSTIC LANCELOT has been knocking on the door against similar all meet long at Gulfstream Park and as such is a logical choice. He also owns a strong series of Beyer Speed Figures. CADET CONNELLY was third against similar last out and has reason to move forward here, on second Lasix. He is from a multiple Grade 3-winning mare who ran out $344K. JUSTINTHENICKOTIME returns to the allowance ranks following the overnight stakes start and owns the field’s co-highest last-race Beyer Figure, alongside MYSTIC LANCELOT. JUSTINTHENICKOTIME is a half-brother to stakes winner Frost Wise ($266K). RIGGINS is from a Grade 1-winning mare who earned $187K and who has produced a multiple Grade 1 winner in Ce Ce ($750K) and a multiple Grade 2 winner in Papa Clam ($1.1M).

TENTH RACE

VINNIE VAN GO moves from five-eighths to six panels - site of his last win - and also has the speed to hold his position from the rail. VINNIE VAN GO is further appealing on the move back to the statebred ranks - and as a six-time winner. ARRIVEDERLA is appealing for his consistent nature and competitive Beyer Figures. He’s a halfbrother to Matt King Coal, a multiple stakes winner of $662K. CPT. RHETT BUTLER meets winners for the first time, but owns the field’s best last-race Beyer Figure. He’s from a mare who won nine races and earned $206K and is a half-brother to Front Loaded, a six-time winner who also placed in six stakes while earning $412K.

ELEVENTH RACE

FLOWMOTION is a winner of two of his last three starts. The wins came on firm ground and he caught good turf last out at Gulfstream. The race last time went quite quick, too. FLOWMOTION earned a Beyer Figure of 88 and it’s one of the best last-race numbers in this field. DOVER CLIFFS is back racing over the Gulfstream course where he is 2-for-3. He also shortens up to a more conventional distance. NEW YEAR moves back to the mile and a sixteenth trip of his last win. He also would seem best served if his race stays on turf this time around as he put three straight wins together over the local course from February to April. KING OTTOKAR is a half-brother to Grade 2 winner Free Rose ($410K).

TWELFTH RACE

FRONT LOADED is a consistent sort who was favored at this level and distance last out at Gulfstream. He also owns the field’s best recent Beyer Figures. WIN WITH PRIDE is another consistent sort. He ran second off the bench last out and would seem to have reason to move forward here, in his second start since February. He might get an ideal tracking trip, while FIRST AND THREE figures to be strong through the lane on the cutback to seven-eighths.
