FIFTH RACE

This $25k claiming N2L sprint is a good spot to take a shot at a price with longshot CRYIN’ CHUCK. He merely ran in place finishing a modest fourth in his recent 18-1 comeback at this level, but that was his first in four months. His maiden win here in January puts him among the pacesetters, his connections optimistically keep him at the same level rather than drop to $12.5k N2L, and he is likely to improve second start back. Price play. SORRISO parlayed an easy lead into a front-running win over Cal-bred maiden-claiming company. This sprint is not exactly loaded with speed, he should be forwardly placed again. BABY GRONK is a trouble-prone gelding with ability, while ALVAARO fits off his maiden win two back. UNDENIABLE PROOF finished second at this level last out and therefore merits consideration. Scheduled post time for the Belmont Stakes is 2:42 PT, front-runner Tap It to Win has a shot to upset Tiz the Law.

SIXTH RACE

SILARDI pressed a strong pace in his maiden victory, winning clear over Much More Halo, a contender in race 3 Friday. SILARDI is comfortably drawn, with speed for another pressing trip. He can win right back in this entry-level allowance turf sprint. An honest pace is insured by dirt-toturf WHOOPING JAY and speedball filly SAINTS PAYNTER. The Cal-bred N1X dirt win by WHOOPING JAY was highly rated, although the runner-up returned to bomb as the favorite after breaking through the gate before the start. ‘JAY ran well his only previous turf start in autumn. He will be under pressure from the filly SAINTS PAYNTER, who set a blazing pace in her maiden win on dirt last summer. Uncertain if she can fire first start back while changing surfaces, but she will influence the pace scenario. CITY RAGE will be rolling late in a race that sets up for his closing style.

SEVENTH RACE

AX MAN figures to pop the gate, make the lead and race gate to wire while dropping from a G2 sprint and stretching back to two turns. Short price, long gone. ORDER AND LAW returns to the dirt surface on which he earned a career-high speed figure two starts back. MULTIPLIER will be rolling late, while
