BEST BET: RACE 4, ROCKET BLAST

FIRST RACE

THE PREDICAMENT down from Tampa sporting a series of decent looking gate works prepping for bow. Half to turf SW Winning Envelope. FULMINI bet to 9-5 for career bow, did not appear to have much excuse but should benefit from the experience and bred to like the going. Must work out trip from tough post. CROWLEY’S WAR logical by War Front out of a SW turf mare and with plenty of experience working on turf over PM green. Breezed on even terms with Gem Thief on 6/17, the latter a major disappointment now in two career starts.

SECOND RACE

GEGE CONQUEST from barn on a roll of late in maiden 2yo races and likely to benefit from debut when off slow, finishing on wrong lead. Zayas stays. Looks best of a weak lot. CHUCKY no match for preferred choice in their first encounter but re-unites with Jaramillo who has had lots of success for this barn in baby races at the meet. WARM SUNNY BREEZE a new face to relatively soft looking category. Deserves passing look especially if live on the board.

THIRD RACE

FLAWLESS MOON dropped into deeper going nearest rail when second best last time but holding form nicely of late and a good fit for this tag. MORE THAN USUAL takes on elders for only the second time after being hard used dealing in deep footing as well down inside exiting well graded maiden score.Expecting big approval, could prove one to catch if hustled along from his inside post. STILL SCHEMIN no match for mega drop down Plato last time but easily second best while posting career best Beyer in process. In new hands today.

FOURTH RACE

ROCKET BLAST the day’s best getting plenty of class relief while switching over to the lawn for first time. Dam has thrown two turf winners from as many foals to the races including 3 time winner Nilestar. EXTREMELYEXCLUSIVE had to take up very sharply in traffic attempting to rally midstretch last time, strictly one to beat with clean sailing. CITRUS BURST drops to cheapest level yet. Cannot be ignored.

FIFTH RACE

COULD BE well spotted dropping out of open company to this slightly softer conditioned spot and barn has been on quite a roll of late. Should hold pace edge over key contender BASHA who receives a ton of class relief himself coming up tagged once again while exiting key race that produced trio of next out winners. CASH CALL KITTEN ran well vs. same kind last time. Should grab at least a share.

SIXTH RACE

Old pro FRENCH QUARTER comes off well graded albeit perhaps bias aided bottom level maiden score but back with state breds for first time since solid effort vs. perhaps tougher group back during championship meet. One of few proven commodities at a mile in this spot. KRAMMY BOY stretches out off series of recent sprints and like the fact he’s back with Fla. breds again today. R U LUCKY takes on older horses for the first time off popular sprint tally last time, an effort flattered when runner-up came back to win next starts. Still a bit of a question, however, on stretch to a mile.

SEVENTH RACE

TIPSY KITTEN re-claimed by Fawkes barn off solid second place effort vs. same kind last month. Hasn’t shown best speed of late but might do so
