BEST BET: RACE 3, KID FORESTER

FIRST RACE

LUCKY STREET put in a good late kick to take down second money at a notch lower in his improved second race off the bench a month ago. Kimura retains the mount and is 0 for 9 with five seconds at the meet for DePaulo. KILKENNY PROSPECT just missed at a notch higher with leading rider Hernandez up in his comeback. Blinkers are added and Rafael stays aboard. MAZINAW LEGEND looks next best with second-leading rider Stein taking over.

SECOND RACE

BLACK SAGE placed in both of her starts at this stand on turf and the Tapeta at this level. The runner-up from her last race returned to win an FE allowance with a 67 Beyer. BEAU’S BEAUTY polished off $8K NW2 stock in her latest on the dirt at the border oval. She resides in a live barn and was previously competitive here on the Tapeta. ROSE RING is eligible to get back on track in her second start off an extended layoff.

THIRD RACE

KID FORESTER just missed after a stalking trip in his June 7 comeback at this class and distance, from which the fourth-place finisher exited to run third vs. OS/$40K company. He’s worked twice in the interim and should be dangerous with his tactical speed. STREET SILENCE is dropping off a front-running third in his second start back, from which the top two finishers both exited to disappoint. He could be the dominant speed with Contreras taking over. Off an overdue maiden score, EMBRACE MY UNCLE could be along to pick up some of the pieces.

FOURTH RACE

CAPTAIN VINNIE is dropping off a wide-closing maiden victory to a logical spot in this bottom NW2 tilt. Stein is sticking with him and could have him fairly close to a projected slow pace. CAT’S WHISPER used different running styles to place in his first two outings at the meet. His inside draw isn’t ideal, but he should have a say in the

outcome if he stays in the zone. SILENT EMPIRE rallied mildly for fourth in his seasonal bow. His trainer scored with a runner competing secondtime off the shelf with Hoyte aboard last weekend. Use CHARLES STREET in the lower rungs of the exotics.
