FIRST RACE

PARTY OF NO chased, faded late when getting first taste of two turns on the turf while not badly beaten for 2nd money by Houdini’s Awesome, who returned to finished 2nd with a 62 Beyer against $50K claimers in his next start. Well posted inside, looks like a good fit here. PUGIN the logical choice in current form with Beyers continuing in right direction and with IRad taking the call but a hanging sort who must overcome wide post at short price. ASSERT DOMINANCE a big question mark debut for this tag off recent series of main track drills at Tampa. Has some breeding for the grass.

SECOND RACE

ANTIGONE, the day’s best, returned to a one turn mile to win off impressively against N2L company, well spotted to score right back if able to repeat the effort at the next level. SKYE SNOW a question mark on the main track but surely can toss latest when rider lost an iron early in the race. Must respect for this tag. MONEY NEVER SLEEPS has been away since June but working well enough to demand respect returning for this price. Figures prominently throughout.

THIRD RACE

ISLAND VIBE gets the nod by default debuting in this very weak looking spot. Has shown some speed in the a.m. Fitness the issue with only two published works locfally on resume’. ADDI gets some class relief off much needed outing when finishing mid-pack vs. much better last time. TWIRLING DERVISH likewise drops to softest spot yet, goes turf to dirt, should fit well in here.

FOURTH RACE

HARPER GO LUCKY rallied belatedly outside horses to be second best behind 20-1 winner dropping to bottom level n2L competition but did finish in front of Senzazione, who flattered effort returning to defeat same kind in his next start. FIRST HOMESTEAD stalked, held willingly at six furlongs now dons shades, might not look back if able to clear off early from the rail. THE REIGN

MAN did not get the best of trips when dropping too far back, rallying to finish third vs. same kind 3 weeks earlier in promising showing on the dirt.

FIFTH RACE

PASSION PLUS training well for new connections off the claim. Returns to preferred distance today. ISADORABLE AIDA over-matched against strong bunch in the Tiara, a key race that has since produced trio of next out winners. Not disgraced in that outing, should fine this group more suitable at her best. DANCE TILL DAWN back to her favorite course, expecting much improved showing at a square price. Can hang on for a share.

SIXTH RACE

WEIGHT OF GLORY goes turf to dirt, two turns to one, adding blinkers and Lasix for first start for new connections off the claim. Could be worth a look at a bit of a price. R KING KONG from barn who knows how to place new faces for early success. Kin to SW Seismic Jolt. NO COMMISSION showed high speed before being run down late debuting against lesser but continues to work well, should improve with one under his belt.

SEVENTH RACE

HIGH NOON RIDER raced rankly, never had a chance trying to stay two miles in the Allen Jerkens. Beat Temple and Muggsamatic two back, turf specialists who regularly Beyer in the 90’s. Should be along with the right trip. ROCKET JOE COPPER got hung out to try on both turns last

time making mild middle move before tiring from the effort. re-unites with Irad, who guided him to victory vs. decent bunch of open $16K claimers on 12/9. GOOD OLD BOY another who could not quite stay the route going 12 furlongs last time after racing prominently throughout. Back to best distance here.

EIGHTH RACE

ANGELCENTS has been away a long time but barn excels with that type of scenario. Extremely fast filly might be long gone, hard to catch if away clean from the rail. MISS MIAMI stays put off the claim, continues to knock on door for this tag. THINKIN COWTOWN back from Tampa off a bit of a disappointing effort but loves this course, well spotted to get back on winning track for first time in over a year if able to work out a trip from difficult post.

NINTH RACE

Old pro WHYRUAWESOME back in peak form at the present time. had modest two race win streak snapped by 3/5, graded stakes placed Krsto Skye in the Claiming Crown. Taken to stalk, picked up the speed if able to repeat that effort here. UNTITLED returns to the scene of perhaps his finest hour on graduation day and working dynamite off the layoff at PM.
