BEST BET: RACE 9, COUNTERSTRIKE

FIRST RACE

Enough pace in opener to set up late runs from both HENNI PENNY and CHARLOTTE THE BRIT who finished behind next out N1X Tampa Bay allow. winner Proper Manners under similar conditions on 3/11. Former was hung wide throughout, better drawn for rematch. OUR LITTLE DEVIL may prove speed of speed if away clean from rail under Paco.

SECOND RACE

INCLUDE THE BEAST dropping back to level at which she was claim and won early in the Championship meet. One of only two multiple winners in field along with HEART OF GOD who gets Lasix for first time off the claim and runner-up finish on grass for same price.ROADHOUSE BLUES easily handled lesser on graduation day while also responding to addition of Lasix.

THIRD RACE

EAMONN very game in defeat when haltered for this tag two back chasing home 8-5 Thorn in solid showing. Need only repeat the effort to earn diploma with these. KICK IN THE GAS one of several new faces to consider along with MERZAZ. Former not all that well bred for the going but did fetch $150K at the sales and with turf experience prepping for bow. Merzaz is out of a mare who was a G2 winner on the grass but with all local works on dirt at PBD. Tabbing board for clues here.

FOURTH RACE

AWESOME BEACH drops after being hard used on front end in race with fell apart late to runaway winner. Should find this group easier to handle on front end. FLAMINGO HAWK dominated softer posting big Beyer improvement on graduation day. Must prove he can duplicate effort vs. stronger. BAILEY exits tough trip first off the claim for current connections. Back to softer spot. Expect improvement here.

FIFTH RACE

TWELVE VOLT MAN among several intriguing new faces in this wide open affair. By above average debut sire Violence while having shown good things in a.m. leading up to bow. CAJUN MOON on the improve in recent a.m. trials. Should offer some value in this tough lineup.NUZHAT bred to be quick being kind to G1 placed Trigger Warning and multiple G3 winner Letruska. Has had plenty of work in a.m. prepping for bow. Meetmeinkingston from top connections sporting several bullet works on resume’. Cannot ignore. Again seeking some help from the board in this spot.

SIXTH RACE

Another race that figures to tie up late so giving stretch running LITTLE BIT GOOD a shaky nod after being shuffled back to last, rallying belatedly behind 7-5 Charge Account in latest. KITTEN’S ROMANCE exits same race when finishing strong to prove second best. In top form now. CENTSLESS DRAMA possibly best of the speedsters in here dropping in company and off recent freshening. Second best behind recent Keeneland N2X 3rd finisher Choate Bridge 2 back.

SEVENTH RACE

SEE OUT looks like an intriguing first timer in this one being out of an un-raced dam but kin to Grade 2 winner Hawkster. Seems to be primed for good one off bench. Q F SEVENTY FIVE the logical choice off promising bow when hunging a bit lugging in and racing a bit greenly through stretch. Should improve from the effort. TIDAL FORCES
