EIGHTH RACE

TOLD IT ALL received an 88 Beyer while placing in each of his last two outings in Ontario-sired stakes company, finishing just 1 1/2 lengths behind the mighty Pink Lloyd most recently. LAPOCHKA should be along to pick up some of the pieces while traveling a distance that’s shorter than his optimum.

PINK LLOYD could close out his career in style in this G2 stakes, which the perennial Canadian champion male sprinter has won twice before. The venerable 9yo is at his best coming from off the pace, and is better than his last two workmanlike scores in paceless stakes would indicate. Seven of his 25 stakes wins came with Hernandez aboard. SOUPER STONEHENGE had ideal front-running trips when beating PINK LLOYD in both the G3 Vigil and G3 Jacques Cartier. A foot abscess led to him missing the Sept. 25 Bold Venture, a G3 won by Pinky, and he might not be cranked right up off the four-month break. Normally a front-runner, RICHIESINTHEHOUSE missed the break before closing wide over an inside-biased track to lose a heartbreaker in a recent N2X won by LENNY K, who awaited room along the inside before rallying strongly.

NINTH RACE

MARAIS is back in peak form after running two dull races in October, and could win this starter allowance despite competing on short rest, bar shoes and all. ANTIGONE prefers two turns, but the hard-knocking 4yo figures to rally for a high placing under Kimura. COOL SOCIETY is another possibility after beating optional-starter opposition first-time off the claim in her latest.

TENTH RACE

HELL N WILD was dropping out of stakes company when she prevailed at the second allowance level while tagged for $60K Oct. 21. She’s worked twice since and will be tough if she brings her A game again. OWEN’S TOUR GUIDE was stuck in traffic in the stretch before finishing three lengths back in seventh when moving up to this level three weeks ago. HELLO FRIENDS made an early bid to take a run at favored Summer Sunday before flattening out late in the seven-furlong Eternal Search Stakes Oct. 29. She’s being reunited with Wilson while shortening up from 7 to 5 1/2 furlongs. Use MILLENNIUM FORCE in the super.

ELEVENTH RACE

MILANO took the long way home over an insidefavoring surface while nd closing from off rapid fractions for second in a shorter N1X route secondtime out three weeks ago. KEEP GRINDING has been freshened since coming up empty on yielding turf in the final leg of the Canadian Triple Crown in the Breeders’ Stakes. GOSPEL WAY should be the dominant speed. EMBRACE MY UNCLE is jumping up in class, but is a good fit Beyer-wise.
