“You look at Justin and you’re like, ‘No way he’s a three hitter, no way he throws 86 or 87, no way he’s a game-changer,’” Letourneau said. “But that kid is a game-changer. He can win games for us with his bat, on the mound and in center.

“Anthony is seeing beach balls up there right now. He’s our leader this year. He’s been through this for a long time. Everyone feeds off him and his energy. He’s a great teammate to have.”

The Rios brothers know a thing or two about having a great teammate.

“We helped each other every day when we weren’t able to play,” Justin said. “Whether it was hitting off the tee or lifting weights, we were always there to push each other.”
