Local residents awarded by Bradley’s Slane College of Communications and Fine Arts
The Slane College of Communications and Fine Arts at Bradley recently announced its spring semester 2020 awards for outstanding students, which included Alyssa Boyles (Manhattan), Outstanding Student in Ceramics by the Department of Art and Design; Stephanie Dean (Tinley Park), Outstanding Student in Public Relations by the Department of Communication; Austin Scanlon (Hometown), Outstanding Student in Painting by the Department of Art and Design; Cailyn Talamonti (Manhattan), Outstanding Animation Student by the Department of Interactive Media.
Matteson’s Keenan among first policy certificate recipients
William Keenan of Matteson was one of the first 19 students to receive a Certificate in Public Policy from the La Follette School of Public Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison this spring. The La Follette School’s new program allows students to apply a public policy perspective to community and world events.
