Oak Forest

A 47-year-old Oak Forest man told police someone robbed and threatened to shoot him when he was sitting in the gazebo at Commission­ers Park, 15601 Central Ave., on Sept. 15. The victim told police the suspect approached him around 2:40 p.m. and said “I have a .25 and I’ll shoot if you don’t give me yourwallet.”

The victim surrendere­d his wallet and said the man then punched him on the left side of his face and ran eastbound, discarding the victim’swallet in the process. When the victim retrieved hiswallet he discovered his state I.D. and a debit cardwere missing.

The suspect is described as white, 20 to 30 years old and between 5-foot-7 and 5-foot-10, and 160-170 pounds. He was described as clean-shaven and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with yellow lettering across the chest.

DOMESTICBA­TTERY: Timothy Kijanowski, 34, of the 15800 block of Central Avenue, Oak Forest, was arrested and accused of domestic battery, aggravated assault and unlawful possession of firearms and firearms ammunition after a Sept. 20incident at hishomein the 15800 block of Central Avenue, police said.

STOLEN CAR ARREST: Marvez Preston, 24, of Chicago, was arrested and accused of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, driving on a suspended license, unlawful display of registrati­on and no insurance after a Sept .20 stop at 159th and Oak Park Avenue, police said. Police said the stolen car was involved in a carjacking in Chicago Sept. 7, but that Preston and his passenger did not match the descriptio­n of the suspects. Preston told police he borrowed the car froma relative in Chicago and did not know the car was stolen.

STOLEN CAR: A woman told police someone stole her 2020 Toyota Cam ry from the street outside of her home in the 5700 block of Vine Street Sept. 15. The victim left the car unlocked with her purse and key fob inside the vehicle

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: A woman told police someone left numerous dents and scratches on the rear driver’s side of her car when she was parked outside of The Blarney Stone, 15400 S. CiceroAve., on Sept. 17.

Frankfort

STOLENCAR: An unsecured carwas reported stolen from a driveway in the 500 block of Tanglewood Lane Sept. 9.

BUSINESS BURGLARIZE­D: Police said someone forced theirway into a business in the 22300 block of Center Road and stole miscellane­ous items Sept. 16.

REVOKED LICENSE: Haley Aguello, 25, of Lockport, was arrested and accused of driving on a revoked license and speeding Sept. 1 at Stately Oaks and Lemont Road, police said.

WEAPONS ARREST: Salvador Leo, 27, of Chicago, was arrested and accused of unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and no valid driver’s license Sept. 1 at 159th and Bell Road, police said.

THEFT: An employee told police someone stole cash and credit cards from their purse while they were working at Presence Healing & Arts Pavillion, 410 E. U.S. 30, on Sept. 11.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Police said someone drove into a multi-unit mailbox and then fled the scene in the 1900 block of Foxwood Drive Sept. 12.

REVOKED LICENSE: Craig Gilkerson, 46, of Plattsmout­h, Nebraska, was arrested and DOMESTIC BATTERY: Wesley Chellino, 35, of the 100 block of Sonoma Road, New Lenox, was arrested and accused of domestic battery after a Sept. 12 incident at his home, police said.

BATTERY: Gus Landeroz Jr., 34, of the 600 block of Sandpiper Drive, was arrested and accused of battery after punching another person in the face during a Sept. 12 argument at his home, police said.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: Martel Holliday, 37, of Lansing, was ticketed for trespass to property after refusing to leave a property in the 12200 block of South 80th Avenue Sept. 14, police said.

Tinley Park

DUI ARREST: Steven Noonan, 59, of the 0-100 block of Meadowview Drive, Orland Hills, was arrested and accused of drunken driving, disobeying a traffic signal and no insurance after a Sept. 7 crash at 171st Street and 88th Avenue, police said.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: threw a landscapin­g brick through a car windshield Sept. 7 in the 16500 block of Parliament Avenue while the victim was attending a party on that block.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Police said someone damaged a service door, possibly by attempting to kick it in, on the east side of the garage at Family Harvest Church, 18500 92ndAve., on Sept. 11.

CAR BURGLARY: A woman told police someone stole her purse when she left her car unlocked in her parents driveway in the 9300 block of Thornwood Drive Sept. 11. CRIMINALDA­MAGE: Police said someone left a 10-foot scratch on a man’s car when he was parked outside of BestBuy in the 7400block of 191st Street on Sept. 12.

BATTERY ARREST: Danelle Taylor, 20, of the 14000 block of LaSalle Street, Dolton, was arrested and accused of battery and obstructin­g an officer after a physical skirmish with the business owners of Classy Nails, 7320 W. 191st St., on Sept. 8, police said. Witnesses told police the incident began whenTaylor refused to stop speaking onher cell phone despite signs forbidding the practice inside the business. The owners refused to sign complaints but Taylor allegedly committed battery against one of the responding police officers during her arrest, according to a police report. CRIMINAL TRESPASS: Samer Bata, 30, of the 9800blocko­fWest 151stStree­t, OrlandPark, was arrested and accused of criminal trespass to property and two counts of resisting a peace officer after police said she was harassing employees at Speedway Gas Station, 18470 80th Ave., on Sept. 11, police said.

Will County

DUI ARREST: Michael Corsi, 23, of the 21200 block of 79th Avenue, Frankfort, was arrested and accused of drunken driving, no insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and disobeying a stop sign Sept. 7 at North Avenue and Frankfort Square in Frank fort Township, police said.

STOLEN CAR: Police discovered an abandoned car at County Line Road and Will CenterRoad in Peotone Sept. 2. The car had been previously reported stolen from a resident of Glenwood.

TRESPASSIN­G ARREST: Frank Burt, 30, of the 3700 block of Emerald Avenue, Steger, was arrested and accused of criminal trespass to property Sept. 6 in the 3400 block of East 87thAvenue in Crete, police said.

County Club Hills

BATTERY: Orlando Long, 48, Chicago, was arrested and accused of battery and Ladon Jones, 47, Chicago, was accused of criminally damagingpr­operty Sept. 6 inthe 17600 block of Mulberry Street after Jones broke down the door and Long grabbed him by the shoulder, police said.

PUBLIC INTOXICATI­ON: Marsha C. Rowe, 32, Sauk Village, was arrested and accused of public drunkennes­s Sept. 7 in the 4000 block of 167th Street after harassing a department store employee, police said. TRESPASSIN­G: Ronald D. Turner, 60, 13400 block of Springfiel­d Avenue, Robbins, was arrested and accused of trespassin­g Sept. 12 at the Wal-mart Super Center after disregardi­ng a prior ban, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: David McGuire, 39, Chicago, was arrested and accused of retail theft Sept. 12 at The Home Depot, 17845 Halsted St., after stealing merchandis­e selling for $820, police said.

RESISTING ARREST: Tremayne Jamison, 49, Chicago, was arrested and accused of resisting arrest Sept. 13 at the Wal-Mart Supercente­r, 17550 Halsted St., after refusing to comply with an officer’s commands while in custody on an accusation of retail theft/emergency exit after stealing merchandis­e selling for $448.39, police said. SUSPENDEDL­ICENSE: JenniferPa­rker, 33,400 Block of Pleasant Drive, Glenwood, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance and failing to secure a child rear passenger Sept. 15 in the 17500 block of Halsted Street, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Mary Taylor, 36, 4000 Block of Charleston Road, Matteson, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license and disobeying a trafficcon­trol device Sept. 15 at 183rd Street and ParkAvenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Anthony Clark, 19, 700 Block of Huntsbridg­e Road, Matteson, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license and speeding Sept. 16 in the 1500 block of 183rd Street, police said.

Oak Lawn

BATTERY: Damariah K. Ballard-May, 20 undisclose­d block of Dixie Highway, Markham, was arrested and accused of battery during an Aug. 26 two-vehicle crash investigat­ion at 95th Street and Cicero Avenue after she pulled the other motorist out of his vehicle, shoved him and hit him in the face, police said.

RESISTING ARREST: Jvel C. Marsh, 24, undisclose­d block of 107th Street, Chicago Ridge, was arrested and accused of two counts of resisting arrest and criminally damaging property during anAug. 27 stop inthe 10200 block of Major Avenue for revoked registrati­on after grappling with police and causing scratches to a squad car, police said.

Marsh was also accused of illegally possessing up to 30 grams of cannabis and illegally transporti­ng adult-use cannabis in a motor vehicle after officers recovered 30 grams of improperly stored marijuana, police said.

NO LICENSE: Ramon L. Saks-Torres, 42 undisclose­d block of 54th Avenue, Oak Lawn, was arrested and accused of driving without a valid license and illegally transporti­ng alcohol Aug. 27 in the 9300 block of 54thAvenue, police said.

REVOKED LICENSE: Moayad D. Abubaker, 33, Chicago, was arrested and accused of driving on a revoked license and improper lane use Aug. 28 at 96th Place and Cicero Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Timothy D. McNutt, 34, Chicago, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license and failing to signal when required Aug. 28 in the 9500 block ofMajorAve­nue, police said.

REVOKED LICENSE: Tahkahndar Pickett, 42, undisclose­d block of Troy Street, Evergreen Park, was arrested and accused of driving on a revoked license and driving without insuranceA­ug. 28 at 103rd Street and Cicero Avenue, and additional­ly accused of illegally transporti­ng adult-use cannabis and fireworks after hewas found to have two grams of improperly stored marijuana and five regular fireworks in the car’s interior and a mortar-style firework in the trunk, police said.

NO LICENSE: Michael F. Sanchez, 18, undisclose­d block of Millard Avenue, Midlothian, was arrested and accused of drivingwit­hout a valid license, speeding andfailing to secure a child younger than eight Aug. 28 in the 9400 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

NO LICENSE: Norman K. Card Jr., 21, undisclose­d block of Karlov Avenue, Alsip, was arrested and accused of drivingwit­hout a valid license and improper lane use Aug. 29 at 95th Street and Knox Avenue, police said.

DUI: James B. Knox, 48, was arrested and accused of drunken driving, driving on a revokedlic­ense/DUI, driving without insurance, speeding and improper lane use Aug. 29 in the 10700 block of PulaskiRoa­d, police said.

VEHICLE WEAPON: Bobby Reeves, 33, undisclose­d block of Karlov Avenue, Oak Lawn, was arrested and accused of aggravated assault and obstructin­g a peace officer Aug. 29 in the 9600 block of Pulaski Road after aiming the vehicle he was driving at two pedestrian­s, police said. In a related action, passenger William J. Cunningham, 23, undisclose­d block of 97th Place, Oak Lawn, was arrested and accused of assault after threatenin­g to shoot one of the pedestrian­s without displaying a gun, police said. ALTERED LICENSE: The Cook County State’s Attorney’ s office approved a felony charge of possessing analtered driver’s license against Chad L. Lawson, 36, undisclose­d block of Janis Drive, Richton Park, whowas arrested during an Aug. 30 traffic stop at 110th Street and Cicero Avenue and accused of driving on a revoked license, fleeing/eluding, reckless driving and aggravated speeding, police said.

REVOKED LICENSE: Sergio Martinez Jr., 28, undisclose­d block of Keating Avenue, Oak Lawn, was arrested and accused of driving on a revoked license Aug. 31 in the 4700 block of 109th Street, police said. SUSPENDED LICENSE: John J. Kilcran, 24, undisclose­d block ofMcVicker­Avenue, Oak Lawn, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance during a Sept. 3 three-vehicle crash investigat­ion in the 8800 block of McVickerAv­enue, police said.

REVOKED LICENSE: Santiago Denova, 53, Chicago, was arrested and accused of driving on a revoked license, driving without insurance, failing to yield the right of way and failure to reduce speed to avoid a collision during a Sept. 3 three-vehicle crash investigat­ion, police said.

Brennan, 24, undisclose­d block of 88th Avenue, Orland Park, was arrested and accused of drunken driving with a blood-alcohol concentrat­ion above the legal limit and failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision during a Sept. 4 two-vehicle crash investigat­ion at 111th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

GUN ARREST: Wilbert Edwards Jr., 21, Chicago, was arrested and accused of unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of ammunition and illegally transporti­ng adult-use cannabis after he was found to have a 9mm handgun with 16 bullets in the magazine, six loose bullets in a knapsack and one ounce of improperly stored marijuana during a Sept. 4 stop in the 9900 block of Kilbourn Avenue for driving on a suspended license, reckless driving and aggravated speeding, police said.

POT ARREST: Derron Bickham, 21, Chicago, was arrested and accused of illegally possessing up to 30 grams of adult-use cannabis during a Sept. 6investiga­tion in the 4100 block of 97th Place after hewas found to have 23 grams of marijuana in two bags, police said.
