(7 p.m., MTV): The roommates return for their fourth season, which picks up in the aftermath of the stormy Season 3 finale, with a pandemic thrown in for good measure. The wedding of Angeline in that finale included a shocking speech that left the family fractured, so the boys attemptmul­tiple reconcilia­tions in the new season. As part of their plan, DJ Pauly D takes over an entire resort.

(8 p.m., 9 p.m., 10:30 p.m., E!): In a new episode called “Bellas Break Free,” despite Nicole’s reluctance, Brie pushes her sister to resolve lingering tensions with the rest of their family. Nicole starts getting uncomforta­ble after she notices Artem spending what she considers too much time with her mother, Kathy. Elsewhere, Brie finds herself reflecting on the birth she had with Birdie.

(9 p.m., CBS): Burnham (SonequaMar­tin-Green) and her crew find themselves stuck in a time loop after conman and smuggler Harry Mudd (guest star Rainn Wilson) manages to slip aboard the vessel in the new “Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad.” Mudd’s scheme is to murder Lorca (Jason Isaacs) and sell the ship to the Klingons.

(9 p.m., 1 a.m., TLC): Viewer advisory: This new reality series may be enough tomake your skin crawl. TLC goes back to the “body horror” well with this new entry, which follows British dermatolog­ist Emma Craythorne as she diagnoses and treats patients with skin conditions, some of them extreme, like something you expect to see out of amedieval plague docudrama.
