Andy Waxio, 51, of DISORDERLY CONDUCT: the 15500 block of Red Cedar Trail, Homer Glen, was arrested and accused of disorderly conduct and harassment after a Dec. 1 incident in the 15000 block of Red Cedar Trail, police said.

Adam Trainor, 25, of the REVOKED LICENSE:

16100 block of Parker Road, Homer Glen, was arrested and accused of driving on a revoked license, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident Dec. 1 at 159th Street and Will Cook Road, police said.

Joseph Okrzesik, 62, of the DUI ARREST:

13000 block of Blue Grass Drive, Lemont, was arrested and accused of drunken driving, improper lane usage and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a Dec. 3 crash at 135th Street and SmithRoad, police said.

Holliday Kaippi, 23, AGGRAVATED SPEEDING: of Chicago, was arrested and accused of aggravated speeding at 167th Street and Parker Road Dec. 5.

Brandon Koniuszy, 27, of the DRUG ARREST:

2300 block of Palmer Ranch Drive, New Lenox, was arrested and accused of possession of a controlled substance Dec. 14 at Cedar Road andU.S. 30, police said.

Police said someone CAR BURGLARY: smashed a car windowand stole cash, a pair of shoesanda hatwhenthe­ywere parked in the 1800 block ofHeatherw­ay Lane Dec. 15.

Ariana Thompson, 19, of RETAIL THEFT:

Joliet, was arrested and accused of retail theft after stealing merchandis­e fromWalmar­t, 501 E. U.S. 30, on Dec. 16.

An unknown man stole $180 RETAIL THEFT: worth of clothing from Ross Dress for Less, 475 E. U.S. 30, on Dec. 16.

Oak Forest

A 26-year-old man told ARMED HIJACKING: police he was forced from his car at gunpoint during a vehicle hijacking Dec. 14 in the 15800 block of Le Claire Avenue, police said. The victim said he was sitting inside his 2014HondaA­ccord outside of his apartment building when four to five men around 18-20 years old and all wearing hoodies and masks approached him and asked him for the time. One of thementhen lifted his shirt displaying a handgun and demanded his keys, phone and wallet. The victim surrendere­d his possession­s and the thieves entered his car and fled

Herman Smith, 37, of SUSPENDED LICENSE:

Chicago, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license, no insurance and speeding after a Dec. 19 stop in the 15500 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

Orland Park

Robert Wise, 41, of Chicago, DRUG ARREST: was arrested and accused of two counts of possession of a controlled substance and retail theft after stealing merchandis­e from VonMaur in Orland SquareMall on Dec. 1, police said.

Shyreeta Taplin, 49, of RECKLESS CONDUCT: the 100 block of Briarwood Court, Matteson, was arrested and accused of reckless conduct and a concealed carry permit violation after a Dec. 6 incident at Orland Square Mall, police said. Taplin allegedly dropped a handgun on a counter at Orland Square Mall, where carrying firearms is prohibited, police said. No one was injured during the incident.

Daquan Dukes, 22, of WEAPONS ARREST:

Berwyn, was arrested and accused of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and driving without headlights after police discovered a loaded handgun in his car during a Dec. 9 stop in the 15200 block of South LaGrange Road, police said.

Palos Hills

Mohamad Izat Alrais, 48, BATTERY ARREST: of Darien, was arrested and accused of battery Dec. 7, police said. The arrest stemmed from an incident that occurred in September in the 7900 block of 103rd Street.

Mohammad Joudek, 36, of DRUG ARREST:

Bridgeview, was arrested and accused of possession of a controlled substance, possession of more than 500 grams of marijuana and possession of unsealed marijuana on a public highway Dec. 9 in the 11300 block of Southwest Highway, police said.

Dawid Chlebek, 18, of FRAUD ARREST:

Justice, was arrested and accused of unlawful possession of a fictitious driver’s license and ticketed for traffic-related offenses Dec. 12 in the 10300 block of 84th Avenue, police said.

Grady Mann, 31, of SUSPENDED LICENSE:

Chicago, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license, disorderly conduct and ticketed for other traffic violations Dec. 16 in the 10000 block of Walnut Terrace, police said.

Trevon Givens, 18, of WEAPONS ARREST:

Palos Hills, was arrested and accused of unlawful possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana and possession of ammunition without a FOID card Dec. 20 in the 8500 block of 102nd Terrace, police said.

Jamal Spearman, 24, WEAPONS ARREST: address unknown, was arrested and accused of aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon after police found a loaded handgunonh­is person while investigat­ing a domestic dispute Nov. 24 in the 7300 block of 191st Street, police said.

Terrell Griggs, 45, adWEAPONS ARREST: dress unknown, was arrested and accused of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, drunken driving, expired registrati­on and improper parking in a roadway after police discovered him asleep behind the wheel at a stop sign in the 17600 block of Oak Park Avenue onNov. 26, police said.

An88-year-oldwomanto­ld WALLETSTOL­EN: police two unknown women stole her wallet from her purse after one of the women intentiona­lly distracted her by asking a question about dustpans at JewelOsco, 17117 S. Harlem Ave., on Nov. 28. The store told police they would search video surveillan­ce for images of the alleged offenders.

THEFT: Eric Alexander, 34, address RETAIL unknown, was arrested and accused of retail theft after stealing more than $2,000 worth of merchandis­e fromMenard­s, 6851 W. 159th St., on Nov. 30, police said. Also arrested on retail theft charges was Sarah Cheesebrou­gh, 32, address unknown, after police said she stole a $260 vacuum from the store.

A woman told police someone stole THEFT: her holiday light projector from her home in the 8100 block of Justin Court Dec. 2-6.

Marlon Duncan, 42, adFLEEING POLICE: dress unknown, was arrested and accused of fleeing/eluding police Dec. 3 in the 18300 bock ofHarlem Avenue, police said.

An employee told police an unTHEFT: known man stole his personal cell phone from Prime Communicat­ions, 18219 S. Harlem Ave., on Dec. 4. The phone was an iPhone 12 promaxand valued at $1400. The suspect is described as a black man in his late 40s or 50s, approximat­ely 63 and 180 lbs. Hewasweari­ng awhite knit hat, a puffy dark jacket, blue jeans and white shoes.

Deanna Petroski, 48, adBATTERY ARREST: dress unknown, was arrested and accused of battery after attacking another woman during aDec. 6 dispute in the 17700 block of Harlem Avenue, police said.

Jatori Smith, 24, address WEAPONS ARREST: unknown, was arrested and accused of felony possession of a firearm with a revoked FOID card, illegal possession of marijuana, no valid license and improper parking in a roadway after police found a loaded handgun in his car after being questioned by police Dec. 6 in the 18200 block of 76th Avenue, police said.

A woman told police WALLET STOLEN: someone stole her wallet from inside her purse while it was sitting unzipped in the upper portion of her shopping cart at T.J. Maxx, 7252 W. 191st St., on Dec. 8. The victim said the theft occurred when another shopper kept trying to talk to her and direct her attention in another direction.

Patrick Nugent, 34, adASSAULT ARREST: dress unknown, was arrested and accused of two counts of assault after a Dec. 12 incident in the parking lot of Jewel-Osco, 17117 S. Harlem Ave., police said.

Will County

An unknown CONSTRUCTI­ON BURGLARY: person broke into a constructi­on storage container and stole numerous tools, batteries and a generator from a site in the 900 block of East Goodenow Road in Crete Township Dec. 1.

Travis Lanenga Jr., 23, SUSPENDED LICENSE: of the 21200 block of Gray Hawk Drive, Matteson, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license, no insurance, aggravated speeding and no seat belts Dec. 2 at Ridgeland Avenue and MoneeManha­ttan Road in Monee Township, police said.

KrisNorwic­k Jr., 47, of the 1700 DUIARREST: block of Richton Road in Steger, was arrested and accused of drunken driving, leaving the scene of an accident, no insurance, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage and possession of open alcohol after a Dec. 6 accident in the 24000 block of South Kings Road in Crete, police said.

Jacob Hiland, 40, Cedar Lake, RETAIL THEFT:

Ind., was arrestedan­daccused of retail theft Dec. 8 at Best Buy, 17800 Halsted St., after stealing merchandis­e selling for approxi

mately $100, police said.

THEFT: Marshun Neeley, 28, 4100 block of 187th Street, County Club Hills, was taken into custody Dec. 8 on a warrant accusing him of theft on Oct. 21 at Pep Boys, 18024 Halsted St., where he left with his car without paying for labor and services in excess of $500, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Lamondo Ewing, 21, 1800 block of 169th Street, Hazel Crest, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance during a Dec. 9 traffic stop at Terrace Road and Dixie Highway for speeding, police said.

Oak Lawn

RESISTING ARREST: Nicholas J. Narolewski, 21, undisclose­d block of Nashville, Avenue, Chicago Ridge, was arrested and accused of three counts of resisting arrest, driving on a suspended license, driving without a valid license and driving without insurance Dec. 2 at 111th Street and Central Avenue after interferin­g with officers investigat­ing another motorist, police said.

CAR BURGLARY: Tools were reported stolen fromawork vanDec. 2inthe1040­0block of Kolmar Avenue.

THEFT: A delivered package was reported stolen froma residentia­l porchDec. 3 in the 5200 block of Otto Place.
