Chicago Ridge

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: Michael Malinowski, 27, of Chicago, was arrested and accused of criminal trespass to real property after refusing to leave a residence in the 10400 block of Southwest Highway Dec. 23, police said.

CRIMINAL TRESPASS: Rasheen Lemon, 28, of Posen, was arrested and accused of criminal trespass to a residence after entering a former partner’s home in the 10400 block of Brooks Lane on Dec. 27, police said.

Oak Forest

STOLEN CAR: A woman told police someone stole her silver 2005 Toyota Corolla from outside of her home in the 15200 block of Rob Roy Drive on Dec. 8.

New Lenox

CAR BURGLARY: Police said someone stole cash and credit cards from their unlocked car when it was parked in the 300 block of North Cedar Road on Dec. 17.

RETAIL THEFT: Margaret Meadows, 45, of Elwood, was arrested and accused of retail theft after stealing merchandis­e from Walmart, 501 E. U.S. 30, on Dec. 18, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Ryan Chambers, 22, of the 700 block of Brockwood Road, New Lenox, was arrested and accused of retail theft after stealing merchandis­e from Walmart, 501 E. U.S. 30, on Dec. 19, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Asta Bartkus, 31, of the 5500 block of Ann Marie Lane, Oak Forest, was arrested and accused of retail theft after stealing merchandis­e from Walmart, 501 E. U.S. 30, on Dec. 20, police said.

STOLEN CAR: Alicia Johnson-Medrano, 22, of Lockport, was arrested and accused of possession of a stolen car and driving while license revoked after a Dec. 20 stop at Cedar Road and Illinois Highway, police said.

Palos Heights

CAR BURGLARY: Police said someone stole items from several unlocked cars in the 12100 block of 70th Court on Dec. 22-23.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Derrius Silas, 31, of Aurora, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license in the 7800 block of College Drive Dec. 26, police said.

WALLET STOLEN: Police said someone reported their wallet was stolen from the 10400 block of Roberts Road on Dec. 25.

DUI ARREST: Adrian Rutkowski, 22, of Palos Hills, was arrested and accused of drunken driving, illegal transporta­tion of alcohol and was ticketed for other traffic violations Dec. 27 in the 11200 block of Kean Avenue, police said.

Palos Hills

FIRE: A fire broke out in the laundry room of a building in the 9900 block of 84th Terrace on Dec. 25. All residents were evacuated, and no one was reported injured. Displaced residents were directed to the Palos Hills Parks and Recreation Building in the 8400 block of West 103rd Street. The Red Cross “provided them with a place to stay in the immediate future”, according to police.

Residents who were displaced by the fire are urged to contact the Red Cross at 877-597-0747.

Orland Park

DUI ARREST: Sonia Miranda, 34, of the 16700 block of Hobart Avenue, Orland Hills, was arrested and accused of drunken driving and improper lane usage Dec. 2 in the 16500 block of LaGrange Road, police said.

OBSTRUCTIN­G IDENTIFICA­TION: Anthony Johnson, 34, of Crown Point, Ind., was arrested and accused of obstructin­g identifica­tion, driving on a suspended license, driving without working taillights and was processed on an outstandin­g warrant from Indiana Dec. 5 in the 17800 block of LaGrange Road, police said.

RESISTING ARREST: Jasmine Watson, 19, of South Holland, was arrested and accused of resisting arrest, resisting a peace officer and disorderly conduct after causing a disturbanc­e at 94 West, 15410 94th Ave., on Dec. 5, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Shanice Luttrell, 24, of Chicago, was arrested and accused of retail theft after stealing merchandis­e from Von Maur in Orland Square Mall Dec. 7, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Shameka Reed, 43, of Chicago, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license and speeding 15-20 mph above the speed limit Dec. 8 at 167th and LaGrange Road, police said.

DUI ARREST: Arthur Rowland, 74, of the 14100 block of Scott Lane, Orland Park, was arrested and accused of aggravated drugged driving, no insurance, no turn signal, improper lane usage, driving too slowly and driving on a suspended license Dec. 8 in the 8700 block of 143rd Street, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Ronnie Flowers, 56, of the 14400 block of Normal Avenue, Riverdale, was arrested and accused of retail theft after stealing two drills valued at $240 from Home Depot, 7300 159th St., on Dec. 9, police said.

Homer Glen

SCAM BURGLARY: A woman said two men posing as ComEd employees burglarize­d her home on Dec. 8 in the 13000 block of Long Run Drive. The victim said she was approached by a man exiting a dark-colored SUV around 3 p.m. The man told her a car had hit a utility pole down the street and the power was expected to go out in 20 minutes. The victim allowed the man inside to check her outlets and discovered a second man in her kitchen. After they left and looked at kitchen outlets, she discovered cash and jewelry had been stolen from her bedroom.

Will County

DUI ARREST: Steven Reckner, 57, of the 24300 block of Deer Run Trail, Crete, was arrested and accused of drunken driving and leaving the scene of a property damage accident Dec. 10 at East Poplar Lane and Deer Run Trail in Crete Township, police said.

STOLEN CAR: Police said someone stole a 2010 Chevy Malibu from the parking lot of the Monee Inn, 24142 S. Governor’s Highway, on Dec. 13.

STOLEN CAR: Someone stole a 2013 Volkswagen CC Sport from a driveway in the 20000 block of Green Meadow Lane in Frankfort Township Dec. 11.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY: James Beil, 73, of the 9700 block of Hummingbir­d Hill Drive, Orland Park, was arrested and accused of aggravated battery after a Dec. 12 incident in the 13000 block of West 184th Place in Frankfort Township, police said. Christophe­r Beil, 48, of the 13100 block of 184th Place, Mokena, was arrested and accused of disorderly conduct.

Oak Lawn

VANDALISM: Veronica M. Ward, 30, of Baltimore, was arrested and accused of vandalism Dec. 1 outside the Advocate Christ Medical Center emergency room after intentiona­lly damaging a squad car with her thrown cell phone during an unwanted-person call, police said.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Nilsa T. Cruz, 28, undisclose­d block of Mason Avenue, Chicago Ridge, was arrested and accused of disorderly conduct Dec. 5 at Thorntons, 9138 Cicero Ave., after knocking candy and gum from displays when a clerk refused to sell her tobacco, police said.

NO LICENSE: Micheal A. Bell Jr., 30, Chicago, was arrested and accused of driving without a valid license, reckless driving, aggravated speeding and failing to signal when required Dec. 5 at Massasoit Avenue after a 12-block pursuit on Southwest Highway with speeds up to 82 mph that began at Kolmar Avenue, police said.

TRESPASSIN­G: William M. Gaddy, 31, Chicago, was arrested and accused of trespassin­g Dec. 5 after disregardi­ng an order not to return to Advocate Christ Medical Center, police said.

THEFT: A patient’s identifica­tion cards and medical cards were reported stolen Dec. 5 at Advocate Christ Medical Center.

CAR BURGLARIES: The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office approved two counts of felony burglary against Gabriel Torres, 33, undisclose­d block of Keating Avenue, Oak Lawn, after officers found him holding a garbage bag while rummaging through a car Dec. 8 in the 10400 block of Keating Avenue, police said. Investigat­ors recovered two driver’s licenses and $226.18 linked to two vehicle break-ins and more than $900 linked to a third break-in, police said.

CAR BURGLARY: Audio equipment and a wallet containing cash were reported stolen from a vehicle Dec. 8 in the 10000 block of Keeler Avenue.

CAR THEFT: A 2020 Dodge Charger was reported stolen Dec. 9 from the 9700 block of Karlov Avenue.

VAN BURGLARY: Tools were reported stolen from a work vehicle Dec. 9 in the 10200 block of Komensky Avenue.

Country Club Hills

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Richard L. Butler, 32, Chicago, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license during a Dec. 13 crash investigat­ion in the 17000 block of Pulaski Road, police said.

ASSAULT: Alicia Chew, 35, 4600 block of 177th Street, Country Club Hills, was arrested and accused of aggravated assault Dec. 13 after brandishin­g a gun and threatenin­g to shoot another person during

a domestic incident in that block, police said.

ILLEGAL WEAPON: Devonte M. Mauldin, 20, 4100 block of Cambridge Drive, was arrested and accused of unlawfully using a weapon after officers recovered an undisclose­d firearm during a Dec. 18 traffic stop in that block, police said.

ASSAULT: Angelo Neal, 54, 17600 block of Central Park Avenue, Hazel Crest, was arrested and accused of domestic-related assault Dec. 20 in the 4100 block of Indian Hill Drive, police said.

WARRANT SERVICE: Johnmeia P. Moore, 27, West Chicago, was taken into custody on a DuPage County warrant for failing to appear in court on a child-endangerme­nt charge Dec. 22 while visiting the Country Club Hills police station on an unrelated issue, police said.

NO LICENSE: Derrick L. Gipson, 40, Willowbroo­k, was arrested and accused of driving on a license expired for more than one year, driving without insurance and disregardi­ng a traffic light Dec. 23 in the 17400 block of Pulaski Road, police said.

WARRANT SERVICE: Denarius A. Lofton, 19, 16500 block of Belleplain­e Drive, Markham, was taken into custody on two undisclose­d warrants during a Dec. 24 domestic-disturbanc­e call in the 17800 block of Yale Lane, police said.

BATTERY: Sharrell K.C. Jones, 22, 16900 block of Briargate Drive, Country Club Hills, was arrested and accused of battery Dec. 27 in that block, police said.

Homewood

DUI: Michael Johnson, 47, Chicago, was arrested and accused of drunken driving with a bloodalcoh­ol concentrat­ion above the legal limit and failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision Dec. 18 at 175th and Halsted streets, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Latrese Smith, 26, 14100 block of Michigan Avenue, Riverdale, was arrested and accused of driving on a suspended license and failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision Dec. 21 at 175th Street and Garden Lane, police said.
