HIT AND RUN: Marwan Matari, 28, address unknown, was arrested and accused of leaving the scene of a property damage accident after rear-ending another driver at 167th Street and Oak Park Avenue Dec. 28, police said.

DRUG ARREST: Gabriel Borroel Trujillo, 21, of the 8800 block of Nashville Avenue, Oak Lawn, was arrested and accused of possession of a controlled substance after a Dec. 31 traffic stop in the 7200 block of West 159th Street, police said.

DUI ARREST: Lucas Rudenga, 23, of the 15400 block of Walnut Road, Oak Forest, was arrested and accused of drunken driving and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after rear-ending another car at 165th Place and Oak Park Avenue shortly before 2 a.m. on Jan. 1, police said.

WEAPONS ARREST: Anthony Jarrett, 34, of East Hazel Crest, was arrested and accused of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and speeding after police found a loaded handgun under his passenger seat during a Jan. 3 stop in the 19600 block of North Harlem Avenue, police said. Jarrett told police he does not own a FOID card or a concealed carry license, according to a police report.

DUI ARREST: Dana Munsen-Taylor, 23, of the 19500 block of 116th Avenue, Mokena, was arrested and accused of drugged and drunken driving, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, making an improper turn and disobeying a traffic control device after crashing into a highway sign at Harlem Avenue and Benton Drive on Jan. 7, police said.

DUI ARREST: Edward Ryan, 61, of the 7000 block of 183rd Street, Tinley Park, was arrested and accused of drunken driving and following too closely after a Jan. 8 stop in the 7300 block of West 183rd Street, police said.

DUI ARREST: Mozella Cartharn, 29, of Chicago, was arrested and accused of drunken driving after driving off the roadway Jan. 9 in the 19900 block of 80th Avenue, police said.
