ToMof Orland Park. On Sunday your comment said masks don’t work, yet the Sunday paper was filled with articles quoting actual doctors stating masks work, just some better than others. How about sending your peer reviewed studies supporting your comments?

Bob, it is amazing that there are still some uninformed, misinformed people like you still alive. Masks have nothing to do with socialism or the Democrats. Masks help prevent the spread of the virus, and protect you, me, our loved ones and society as a whole. It’s amazing that with nearly 700,000 Americans dead, people still spout this garbage. It was reported that our neighboring state, Indiana, is using technology to catch criminals, and it’s working. Their police officers are highly trained and will go after criminals in high speed cars purchased without the taxpayers’ money. Also, cameras were installed on their expressways, reading license plates. After hearing all of this, it left me thinking about Chicago. Nothing is going right, every day there is crime and more crime. So maybe the answer is training. Cameras were installed on our expressways. So far I haven’t heard of any arrests, and crime has not stopped.

It’s time to rebut the liberal columnist Ted Slowik regarding his obsession with the peril facing America from Jan. 6. Where were you for the riots of 2020 from Black Lives Matter, Antifa and radical criminals? Where were you regarding the rising crime in urban America and the defunding and degrading of our police forces? Where were you with the invasion at our southern border now, intentionally allowing illegals to enter the U.S., some with COVID-19? Where were you with the unconstitutional mask and vaccine mandates and lockdown of law abiding citizens, businesses and schools?
