Springs South Dakota. Cliff, 78 passed away suddenly October 6, 2021, age 78. Cliff resided at Clarendale of Mokena, previously residing in Joliet, IL. Cliff is survived by his loving companion Jan Sinclair, children Jon Sinclair and Rebecca Mott. grandchild­ren Taylir, Kaitlin, Andrew, Brandon, Tyler, and Dylan and siblings Jim, Carol, Lori, Jerry, Julia, Robert, Debra, and Jeff. Dearest son of the late Pete and Gene Sinclair. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents Pete and Gene Sinclair, stepmother Kay Sinclair, nephew Clark and great niece Alyssa. Cliff was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served proudly on the U.W. Hunley. He retired from Caterpilla­r as a machinist. Cliff enjoyed baseball, golf, and spending time at the OTB. Cliff will be missed dearly by all that knew him. He was an incredible man with an unparallel­ed zest for life. From serving his country to running for congress Cliff was a man of great character. He taught us that all the really good things in life are beyond the “Do Not Enter” signs. He always put his family first. His selflessne­ss was beyond reproach. He will live on in our hearts, minds, thoughts, and prayers, forever. Following his well… not so organized wishes, there will be a wake and memorial service. However, well wishers are encouraged to watch a Cubs game or place a bet on the ponies at the OTB and most importantl­y remember to live life to the fullest and laugh, laugh, and laugh some more. The family would like to express a special and sincere thanks to all of Cliffs friends here and there who trusted, believed in him, and always showed dedication and patience. To celebrate Cliff’s beautiful life a visitation will be held Tuesday October 12, 2021 , 2:00 until 4:30 with a service scheduled at 4:30, Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way,
