WEEKEND TIME TO CELEBRATE

The Fourth of July has arrived and with it, towns are celebratin­g with fireworks displays.

In addition to skyrockets lighting up the nighttime sky, some towns will host events with music, bounce houses and food trucks to celebrate our nation’s independen­ce.

Here’s a list of some of the area’s fireworks time and location.

ANTIOCH: 9:15 p.m. July 4. Williams Park, 741 Main St. Free. Call 847-3951000.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS: none AURORA: 9:15 p.m. July 1. Best viewing areas are at RiverEdge Park, 360 N. Broadway; and McCullough Park, 150 W. Illinois Ave. Both parks will have a DJ beginning at 7 p.m. Free admission. Call 630-256-3370.
