Brick sale in Oak Lawn; prayer breakfast in South Holland

Commemorative brick sale through Feb. 15. The bricks will be placed in the memorial garden around the statue of the Blessed Mother to create a beautiful setting for prayer and meditation. Fewer than 200 bricks are needed for this final phase.
They can commemorate occasions such as baptisms, memorials, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, first communions or confirmation. Bricks start at $200 each and are offered in different sizes. Spaghetti dinner and dessert auction at noon Feb. 5 in the Family Life Center. All ages are welcome. The event includes a spaghetti lunch after services that day and silent and live auctions for desserts starting at 12:45 p.m. Proceeds support the youth mission trip to the Quad Cities.
