Poker Face New Series
Peacock ■
Rian Johnson (Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery) is creator, writer, director and executive producer of this mystery-of-theweek series (with each of the 10 hourlong episodes featuring a self-contained puzzle) that re-creates the feel of a classic detective show. Natasha Lyonne, who is also an EP, plays Charlie, a woman with an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road in her ’69 Plymouth Barracuda, and at every stop she encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes that she can’t help but solve, armed with little more than her special talent for deciphering deception. The various guest stars featured in the stand-alone stories include Adrien Brody, Benjamin Bratt, Chloe Sevigny, Clea DuVall, Ellen Barkin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Judith Light, Lil Rel Howery, Luis Guzman, Nick Nolte, Rhea Perlman, Tim Meadows and many others. The first four episodes are available today; new episodes drop Thursdays.
