Apparently some of your knuckleheads in Delaware County, and Ridley Township especially, can’t read the signs that say “left turn signal” and you can’t see that a red light is red, you’ve got to keep on going. And when you get an accident, you’ll wonder why.
‘HONEST’ TRUMP? HAH!
On the news, I was watching a younger voter talk about Donald Trump, saying that she was impressed with his honestly. Oh, they naivety of young people. Donald Trump is a pathological liar. He’s been a pathological liar his entire life. That’s how he amassed his made billions of dollars – by being a pathological liar.
JAIL THE DEALERS
I read the guest column by the state sectary of corrections this week, and I agree wholeheartedly. They need to do something instead of incarcerating people that are on drugs. My grandson fell through the cracks and was in jail mostly all of his adult life because of drugs. The ones that should be in jail are the people that sell them. They need to get help for the people doing drugs. MARIAN
IT’S A WONDERWORD
I agree with “Wonderwording.” Please don’t make Wonderword small. It was very hard to read in Monday’s Times. It’s hard enough to do it when it is larger, and now it’s even harder when it’s small. And is there any way that we could have Wonderword on Sunday? I’d appreciate it. WALLINGFORD
MORE TRUMP LIES
Once again, Donald Trump is lying about things in the campaign. Now he’s lying about how ISIS started, but I’m not surprised because he’s like all Republicans. They don’t know how to tell the truth about anything.
HILLARY WON, FAIR AND SQUARE
Reince Priebus made some disparaging remarks about Hillary Clinton getting the nomination. At least Hillary Clinton got over 50 percent of the votes in the primary, which Donald Trump never did. And Hillary Clinton was not foisted on the party like Donald Trump was. If I remember correctly, Reince Priebus did not even want Donald Trump for his candidates for president. So if I was Reince Priebus, I’d keep my mouth shut.
STARVED FOR ATTENTION
Hillary Clinton, like most of the presidential candidates, is spending the week away from the convention except for the night when she shows up to accept the nomination. Donald Trump though is so desperate for media attention, he had to be at the convention every night. During the Democratic convention, he is Tweeting every night of the convention. If this guy has to spend one day out of spotlight I think he’ll shrivel up and die.
WHERE IS THE FLAG?
I watched the Democratic convention for two days and was amazed that I did not see our American flag anywhere. The cameramen showed the whole convention floor many times and none in sight. It was very disrespectable to our flag and country. PUZZLED
BLAME THE VICTIMS
I’m getting tired of how Democratic leaders acting like children with everything they do. Maybe the Russians hacked the DNC email accounts to help Trump, or maybe they didn’t. That’s not the point. The point is the outof-control behavior of the DNC acting like a Democratic city political machine. Instead of addressing it and admitting their wrongdoing, they’re whining about how this was done to help Trump.
VOTE ‘EM OUT
Now at the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District has raised taxes in excess of the state-mandated maximum, does anybody know what recourse we have? TAXED OVER AND OUT
HELP THE SENIORS
To “Time To Cut Taxes,” we really do for the senior citizens who are trying very hard to keep afloat and keep their homes. I am one of them. I’ve been in my home for 30-some years, and I find it very difficult.
