Raymond Richard Unangst, Sr., on July 24, 2016, age 87 of Lima Estates since 2009. He graduated from Nockamixon High School class of 1947, he joined the US Navy serving during the

Korean War as a Corpsman, he participat­ed in the Honor Flight program two years ago, traveling

to the memorials for both World War II and Korean War, he returned back to civilian life and graduated from the Philadelph­ia College of Pharmacy in 1958. He retired from SmithKline Company in June of 1991 after many years in the research pharmacy field for the company. Mr, Unangst was an active member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Broomall, where he served as a trustee, choir member and Sunday School teacher.

Beloved husband of the late Shirley (nee Lawrence), Devoted father of Raymond R. (Dorothy), Steven L. (Mariam), David L., also survived by his grandchild­ren, Rebecca (Brandon), Jacob, Jesse, Jonathon and Joseph. And his great grandchild­ren Brielle, Brooke and Leah Bailey.

Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service, Friday July 29th at 11:00 in the Springtown Cemetery, Springtown, PA and his memorial service, Sunday, July 31st at 6:00PM in Christ United Methodist Church, 2900 Springfiel­d Rd., Broomall, PA.
