Matthew (Matt) T. Vees
Matthew (Matt) T. Vees, 33, of Prospect Park, PA died July 26, 2016 at his home. He was born and raised in Aldan, PA.
Matt was a gifted musician. He taught himself how to play the guitar, bass, and drums. He had been part of many bands, the most popular was “Hot Lunch.” He had a love for fishing and boating. Matt was everyone’s favorite mechanic. He loved to take things apart and put them back together; he just needed to know how everything worked.
Matt graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School and Folcroft VoTech, Class of 2001.
After high school he worked at Classic Coach Works and Cavallo Auto Body Shops. Matt then moved on to be a master painter at Boeing, painting military helicopters.
Matthew is survived by his daughter, Everleigh Rose Vees, his parents, Clifford “Buddy” & Rosemary (nee Corsi) Vees, sisters; Stacey (Michael) Perry & Nicole (Jason) Shensky and his grandfather, Theodore Corsi. He is also survived by 5 nieces, 1 nephew and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service Saturday July 30, 2016 at 12 pm, O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd. Springfield, PA and to his viewing Saturday morning after 9:30 am in the funeral home. Burial private.
