John C. Harron

John C. Harron, age 70, of Aston, PA, died Friday, September 23, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.

John was a graduate of St. James Catholic High School, Class of 1965. He was employed for more than 40 years at Scott Paper Company/ Kimberly-Clark. John was an avid sportsman. He played for championship teams in sports such as softball, darts, golf, bowling and pool. John was inducted in the Aston Sports Hall of Fame in 2005.

John was the beloved son of the late John J. and Edna (Manley) Harron; loving father of the late Kimberly Ann Mefford.

Survivors: Wife of 50 years: Doris Jean Harron. Loving Daughters: Michele (Ralph) Mader and Jaqueline (Lawrence) Gerrity. Sister: Mary Joy (James) Iannucci. Brother: Robert (Madaline) Harron. Loving Grandchildren: Leslie (Steve) Gardner, Jesse Mader, Daniel Gerrity, Devin Mader, Geena Gommer, Megan Gerrity, Carlie Ann Mefford. Great- Grandson: Steven Bailey. Also survived by Brittany Short and nieces and nephews

Funeral Service: Thursday at 11:30 am at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063. Visitation: Thursday from 10:0011:30AM at the funeral home. Entombment: Lawn Croft Mausoleum
