Phillip J. Toanone “Poppy”, age 62, passed away October 15, 2016 at his home in Chadds Ford. Phillip was raised in Chester and was a lifelong resident of Delaware County. After graduating from St. James High School Phillip pursued a career in the food and beverage industry and was a General Manager at Panera Bread for ten years. Phillip was a lover of golf and an avid Eagles fan. He also enjoyed spending time on his boat “La Famiglia” and was a fantastic cook.

He was the son of the late Phillip N. and Joann (Tropio) Toanone and brother of the late Robert Toanone.

Survivors: Wife: Virginia (Groover) Toanone, Children: PJ (Theresa), Katie (Mike), Pamela, and Frank(Ashley), Siblings: Christine and David (Kim), Uncle: Al, 3 grandchild­ren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Monday 10:00-11:00am at NolanFidal­e Funeral Home, Ltd. 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Memorial Service: Monday, 11:00am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd.
