Cops name suspect in violent home invasion
RIDLEY PARK >> Investigators have identified a suspect in Sunday’s armed home invasion on West Ward Street and a $2,500 reward has been posted for information leading to arrest and conviction.
Shaquille Bowman, 23, is known to frequent the area of 51st and Brown and Reno streets in Philadelphia. He is considered armed and dangerous, according to the Delaware County District Attorney’s office press release.
Bowman is about 6 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 220 pounds.
The reward, offered by the District Attorney’s office and Ridley Park police and administered through the Citizens Crime Commission, is also for any information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of his accomplice in the home invasion.

Previously, police said two home invaders victimized a husband, 59, and his wife, 62. The suspects were looking for money and at one point, threatened to take the wife to an ATM to withdraw cash. The incident occurred between 3:30-4 p.m.
Gunshots were exchanged between the husband and one of the invaders. The husband’s ear was grazed by a bullet. Authorities said one of the intruders may have been struck by a bullet, but was definitely injured and may have been bleeding after he was bitten by the husband during a struggle over the husband’s firearm. The husband’s firearm was taken by the suspects.
