DUDE, IT’S FEBRUARY

I’m just wondering when my neighbor is going to take his deflated Christmas decorations off his lawn. CONCERNED IN BRIARCLIFFE

GET WILD

Can the Times please print the wild ball number in the lottery section? This is my third time calling about it.

TOUGH TO SWALLOW

I’m the purchasing agent for one of the local dollar stores, and we were mistakenly sent a gross of baby pacifiers which we do not sell. Rather than send them back, I will be giving them away free to any of the local supporters of Hillary Clinton in the most recent presidential election who refuse to accept the results of that constitutional election. I’m more than happy to supply them to all of the crybabies who desperately need them.

SMOKED OUT

We’re becoming a nation of zombies. Our government wants to legalize marijuana and not just for the tax money, but so they can also have a nation of zombies. Why do you think you’re called stoners? Because you’re always stoned. And for “Put A Lid On Marijuana Myths,” there are rehabilitation centers already in effect for people who can’t live without it. Medical marijuana may be one thing, but legalizing recreational use is another

ONE NASTY WOMAN

“Oh The Shame” is upset that a caller was supposedly mean and nasty for saying something about Christine Flowers. And they say “be loving and kind.” Well, Christine Flowers is anything but loving and kind. She is mean and nasty. A lot of people had enough of turning had enough of turning out the cheek to people like Christine Flowers.

GET OVER YOURSELF

“Just Saying” is carrying on that Meryl Streep and her friends like to be capitalists even though they’re against Donald Trump. First of all, everybody’s entitled to make a living. It doesn’t make you a capitalist because you want to make a living. Second, there is no capitalism in our country, unless you consider crony capitalism to be capitalism.

IT’S AN OUTRAGE

So Ridley wants to think about a ban on smoking in township parks. Smokers already pay a huge tax for the cigarettes. They’re paying local taxes too for the parks that are open space. If you’re a non-smoker you can move away to the entire rest of the park and the other 99 percent of society where smoking is now banned. Enough already. P.S., I am a nonsmoker.

TRY SOME CONTROL

I attended a church service on Presidents Day and I couldn’t help but notice that in the second stanza of “America, The Beautiful,” the lyrics are “confirm thy soul, in soul control, thy liberty in law.” I’d like to see some more that take place in our “Divided States of America” that we live in today. BABY BOOMER IN BOOTHWYN

DRUNK ON POWER

I see where some lunatic liberals were protesting in Wegman’s because Wegman’s sells Trump Wine. Well guess what? Wegman’s totally sold out of Trump Wine across the chain. These people have got to stop.

START MAKING SENSE

I see on the news all the time these kids getting into bad situations. When we were young we had street sense. It’s called common sense. What is wrong with these kids today is they don’t have common sense? I blame the parents because they have too much high-tech stuff and they’ve become intellectual idiots.

GOOD LUCK

I had to stop and think after reading “Make It Fair” say Middletown, Concord, etc., should pay more for state police and that it shouldn’t be a hotbutton thing, that it’s the sensible way to do it. The problem is once a precedent is set, a bureaucratic agency is created, anything like that involving any level of government, it’s extremely hard to change it or make it go away. I don’t think anyone ever envisioned the state stores becoming a union issue.
