Barbara A. Daly (Nee McNichol)

Barbara A. Daly (Nee McNichol), age 80, of Yeadon, PA died Friday, March 3, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was born in Upper Darby, PA in 1937. She graduated from West Catholic High School for Girls in 1956. She married her high school sweetheart Jack Daly on February 27, 1960. Together they raised six children.

Bobbie loved her job at the Yeadon Swim Club where she would meet and greet her children’s friends. She also was an office assistant and a volunteer at Friendship Circle in Darby. Bobbie enjoyed her summers in Wildwood, NJ where she loved walking the boardwalk and sunbathing on the beach.

She loved watching scary movies, having long conversations with strangers in the grocery store line, attending Irish weekend at the Jersey Shore, and especially loved kisses from her grand-dog Charlie.

Barbara is survived by her husband, John; her children, Donna, Diane, Dot, Doreen (Dom), John (Lori), Danielle (Scott); her brother Daniel McNichol Jr; her eight grandchildren, Valerie, Keirstie, Corrine, Kali, Amanda, Julianna, Sean, Krystal; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Dorothy McNichol and her sister, Joan Pirrone.

Family and friends are invited to her celebration of life on Friday, March 10th at 10:30 AM at Logan Funeral Home, 57 South Eagle Rd, Havertown, PA 19083 where family and friends may visit 9-10:30 AM as well.
