WHAT A TREAT

I’d like to give a shout out to Mission Barbeque in King of Prussia. This month they are honoring police, first responders, and ambulance personnel by giving them a free dinner at their firehouse or station. This week they were at the Radnor Fire Co. and everything was great. We just want to say thank you, thank you and thank you. SONNY FROM RADNOR FIRE CO.

GREAT ESCAPE

Thanks for the great Monte Carlo at St. James Regional School in Ridley Park. It was a nice getaway from all the trials and tribulations of this crazy world. Thanks for everything. JCL IN RIDLEY PARK

NINE OF YOUR BUSINESS

It makes no sense at gas stations to post prices with .9 cents on there. It makes absolutely no sense at all to charge .9 of a penny for something. If you’re getting 10 gallons, you’re going to save one penny. I don’t know what you don’t do away with it. I believe a long, long time ago when gasoline was around 30 cents a gallon and the price would be 32.5 cents a gallon, for example. It makes absolutely no sense and I’m just wondering when someone will realize it and do away with it. AL FROM EDDYSTONE

THE DUFUS UNITES

Over more than 50 years of marriage we have endured all the usual disagreements but rarely more than during the many presidential elections we’ve been through. We have suffered but survived those differences but can now say “thank you, Mr. President” for resolving those different leanings. My wife uses “Dufus Donald” even more than I do. We really appreciate Trump’s help and look forward to certainly a brighter future than he does. Bless your sweet heart, Mr. Trump. DELCO SEER

PROFITS RULE

To “Nancy, Nurse Since ’66,” back in your day, unions were not needed to protect the hospital staff. The hospitals were independent. DCMH is now owned by a for-profit hedge fund. Their interest is not the successful recovery of the patients but a successful return for their shareholders. When big corporations take over a business, their first move is to reduce cost to increase returns (reducing nursing staff numbers is step one). Today’s nursing staff and technicians need the union to voice their interests to enable them to provide the level of care the patients of the hospital need and deserve. THE FACE OF RAGE

Maybe liberals ought to let go out of their selfrighteous bogus outrage over everything. Listen to Nancy Pelosi speak – she can barely form a coherent sentence. That’s what happens when you walk around harboring angry all the time.

LIVING IN FEAR

“There They Go Again” says that Philadelphia Democratic machine is out of touch with reality. No, you are the one who’s out of touch with reality. The soda companies people are not losing any money. People are buying sodas outside of the city, so they’re still making the same profit they were before the city’s tax, more or less. So these layoffs are fear mongering, but people like you don’t even know what fearing mongering is. You’re obviously a Republican, and Republican leaders fear monger all the time.

DONALD DEFINED

“Darn Those Dems” says the Democrats are putting forth a radical agenda. Using “radical agenda” is another calling card of delusional right-wingers. And they say “the Democratic Party will never have any credibility as long as their represented by those who are totally incompetent and wouldn’t justice or fair play if it hit them right in the face.” That sounds like a wonderful description of Donald Trump.

SMIRKER-IN-CHIEF

Have you noticed that Donald Trump has never smiled? He just smirks with his mouth. This is to me a person that thinks he’s gotten away with stuff and “ha, ha, ha.” To me, if you don’t give a sincere smile when it’s needed and just give this stupid smirk, I don’t trust you.
