Mr. Thomas J. McCarron, Jr. was a resident of Norwood, formerly of Folcroft. Mr. McCarron passed away on March 19, 2017 surrounded by his family at the age of 85. He was a retired Air/Freight Truck Driver and a Veteran of the US Army. Preceded in death by wife, Barbara R. McCarron (nee DeFeo); Mother Catherine McCarron; Siblings, Cassie Bowe, Margaret Perini, Doris Rieman and George McCarron.

Survivors: Devoted father of Thomas (Lisa Young) McCarron, Linda (Jim) Takacs & father in law of Mary McCarron. Also Five grandchildren, Six great grandchildren and loved by many nieces, nephews & friends. Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral on Saturday after 9:30 am at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood followed by a Memorial Service at 11 am. Burial at Ss.
