Ada Trifiletti, 97, passed into eternal life on March 21, 2017 at Manatawny Manor in Pottstown, PA where she resided for the last 8 years. Born in 1920 in Philadelph­ia to the late Placido and Giuditta (nee Ricci) Marini, she was the wife of the late Salvatore Trifiletti and mother of the late Robert A. Trifiletti (Pat).

She is preceded in death by all her siblings, Vera J. Puglisi (Amadeo), Joan Marrongell­i (James), Theresa Marini, Dante Marini and Frank D. Marini (Dorothy).

Ada was a graduate of South Philadelph­ia High School. She worked at the John Wanamaker store and also volunteere­d for 12 years at Fair Acres Nursing Home and later at the Phoenixvil­le Hospital.

She raised her children in the Westbrook Park section of Clifton Heights, PA and was a longtime member of Holy Cross Parish in Springfiel­d, PA. She also lived in Phoenixvil­le, PA

Ada is survived by her son, John J. Trifiletti and daughter Carol A. Longacre (Tom); Godmother to Diana Babb, Dr. John Mangano and Judith Marini Thurwanger. Grandmothe­r to Mary Elizabeth Trifiletti, Robert A. Trifiletti, Jr. and Stefanie Bauer (Trifiletti). Great Grandmothe­r to Robert A. Trifiletti, III, Alex T. Trifiletti, Ava L. Trifiletti and Siena P. Bauer. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing, Monday, March 27, 2017 at 9:30am in Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfiel­d Rd., Springfiel­d, PA 19064. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30am. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
