Anne E. Mellon (nee Dietzler)

Anne E. Mellon (nee Dietzler) of Morton, PA passed away peacefully on March 24, 2017 in the presence of her loving husband at the age of 83.

She was the daughter of the late Harry and Eleanor (nee Lally) Dietzler. Anne was a wonderful woman who touched so many people’s lives with her kindness and generosity. She adored her grandchildren and her family so very much. She was an avid singer, singing since she was in high school. She was instrumental in the formation of the OLPH Children’s Choir and participated in various coral groups throughout the years. She loved spending time with her husband and her family at her cherished Split Rock home. She loved to travel and play cards with her friends but most importantly, she loved taking care of her family. She will be dearly missed since she was the pillar of our home.

Survivors; beloved wife of Lawrence J. Mellon, MD, loving mother of Lawrence (Melissa), Michael (Susan), Maureen (David) and Kathryn (Michael). Devoted grandmother of eleven grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:30am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 2130 Franklin Ave., Morton followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30am. Burial SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
