Eldon Leroy Wiens

Eldon Leroy Wiens, 86, of Willow Street, PA died on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Lancaster General Hospital.

He was the youngest of 12 children, born in Wolf Point, MT, the son of the late Henry and Marie (Dalkie) Wiens. He and his wife, Estella M. (Stiggins) Wiens celebrated their 66th aniversary.

Eldon worked 38 years for Boeing Aircraft in the helicopter division, he retired in 1987, and served in the Navy for 4 years. He was a member of the West Willow United Methodist Church, he enjoyed working on cars and spending time with his family.

Surviving besides his wife Estella, are his daughters, Sharon Stauffer (Lynn), Sandy Restucci (Marty), Becky Calvin (Jon), and Judy Read (Steve); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Amy (Marcus), Kristin (Adam), David, Jesse (Maria), Jeremy (Rachel), and Josiah; and his great grandchildren, Samantha, Grady, Adonia, Clara, and one on the way. He was preceded in death by all of his brothers and sisters.

Friends are invited to Eldon’s Funeral Service on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 11:00AM at The Groffs Family Funeral & Cremation Services, 528 W. Orange St., (corner of W. Orange & Pine Streets), Lancaster, PA. Viewing will be at Groffs on Thursday from 10:00AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA following the service.
