Gertrude M. “Gert” Zurlo

Gertrude M. “Gert” Zurlo, 92, of Ellenton, FL, formerly of Prospect Park, PA passed away on March 16, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mabel (nee Jones) Bridge and beloved wife of the late Michael J. Zurlo, Sr. She is also predeceased by 5 siblings, Lillian, Bill, Stella, Daniel and Elizabeth.

Gert is survived by her loving children Michael J. (Kathleen) Zurlo, Jr. and Renee (John) Williamson, Grandchildren Jason, Summer and Shelley, greatgrandchildren Julia and Alaina, her sister Lauretta Riddagh and also cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Gert attended GlenNor High School. She was a homemaker and worked part time for 32 years at Seltzer Company, Upper Darby, PA, a calendar manufacturing company. She loved to cook, bake, going to the beach, singing and dancing, but most of all loved being with her family.

Family and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:00-11:00 AM Saturday April 8, 2017 at Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home 746 Kedron Ave., Morton, PA 19070, 610-544-0600, followed by her Funeral Service 11AM.
