McNeal’s steady hands steer Jaguars to easy win

Garnet Valley’s Kam McNeal played the role of goal scorer and facilitato­r to perfection Saturday in a nonleague girls lacrosse game against Owen J. Roberts

McNeal had her fingerprin­ts on seven goals as the Jaguars cruised to a 14-6 victory.

McNeal finished with three goals, four assists and one caused turnover for the Jags, who scored nine times in the second half.

Riley Delaney led all players with four goals, while Regan Nelson added a hat trick. Madi O’Brien contribute­d two goals, two assists, three caused turnovers and a draw control. Kara Nealon scored a goal and dished out three assists, and Madi McKee dominated from the faceoff circle with seven draw controls.

Lauren Kinnee was solid in net, making 13 saves.

In other nonleague action: ARCHBISHOP CARROLL 16, RADNOR 9 >> In a battle between two of Delco’s very best, the visiting Patriots got the best of their neighborho­od rivals. Samantha Swart and Kate Detwiler both recorded four goals and two assists, while Grace Gallagher posted a hat trick.
