TIME TO IMPEACH

Donald Trump has had his finger on the button since day one. He would love to start another conflict. This would increase his billions, as I’m sure he has invested in everything needed for a war. This man should be impeached before he ruins our entire country. IMPEACH NOW

PULL THE PLUG

Ever since we have been in this computer age, of all these leaks, Facebook and everything else has been nothing but problems. Computers have caused nothing but problems in the world. They ruin our kids and make them lazy and useless. They have ruined people. We need to ban computers and high tech. It is an instrument of evil.

WRONG AGAIN

As for the big bomb we dropped in Afghanistan, all the articles I read about it talked about how our military is the most powerful in the world. I guess that “Mr. Tom In Linwood” and all the other right-wingers who said that Obama gutted our military are wrong once again – not surprising.

ANOTHER VACATION

If I remember correctly President Obama spent Easters at the White House, not had a fancy resort that he owned. This was the seventh weekend at Mar-a-Lago at taxpayers’ expense. JUST COUNTING

TALL TALES

It’s about time the America is showing the world we mean business and will fight ‘til the end for what’s just and right. It’s about time America stood tall. HENNY THE BARTENDER

COMMERCIAL FREE

“Nothing Special” says that the PBS documentary on World War I wasn’t any better than any documentary he’s watched on commercial television – well, there’s the rub. Commercial television inundates you with mindless advertisements all the time and PBS does not. You can watch the documentary straight through without any commercials, and that itself is pleasing.

POLISH UP

Hey “Cough It Up,” how does someone saying others should have to work to earn higher pay equate to believing “I have mine, I don’t want anyone else to get theirs?” That caller was absolutely right. If these minimum-wage protesters put half as much effort into bettering their skill set as they do complaining and demanding things be handed to them, they’d probably be earning $100,000-plus a year by now.

FOSSIL FOOL

I had to laugh at the image I got in my head when I read “Bark All You Want” say about environmentalists “There’s no getting through to people who eat tree bark.” I’m sure there was some reader in Swarthmore or Media eating their tree bark or some other vegan thing and drinking their organic, fair-trade coffee or tea puzzled at how an unenlightened, pro-fossil fuel Neanderthal would even know about such a thing. THERE IS NO BIG BAD WOLF

FALSE PROFITS

“Cough It Up” is another person who left can’t drop their ideological beliefs long enough (since a lot of the liberals in Sound Off like to accuse people of being ideologues so much) to do some basic research. They start ranting about “billion-dollar corporations” instead of thinking about what the first caller pointed out – the vast majority of employers are small businesses, and that’s who is going to have to deal with the realities of a minimum wage of $15 an hour. The average profit margin in the restaurant world is something like 4 percent. You do the math, “Cough It Up.” STILL COUGHING

PROVE IT

The Democrats keep calling in Sound Off and insisting that the Democratic Party is the party for the working class. If this is true, how come the majority of the working class votes Republican? Can any of you explain it to me? NEWT GINGRICH

BLUE LAWS BLUES

“Baby Boomer In Boothwyn” mentions the fact that years ago everything was closed from noon-3 on Good Friday. I’d add that everything was closed on Sundays. Nothing was open – not even gas stations. REMEMBER WHEN
