Crozer-Keystone Sleep Centers: have launched a support group for those who have a suspected sleep disorder or have already been diagnosed. Learn about how treatment can improve sleep and health, and gain an understanding of the latest treatment options, new CPAP mask options and sleep research. Crozer-Keystone sleep experts are available to answer questions and view CPAP equipment demonstrations. Most importantly, attendees create new friendships with others who have had a similar experience or have undergone treatment for a sleep disorder. Job Corps: is a program free to income eligible young people ages 17-24with career training and education programs, including Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Culinary Arts, Emergency Medical Technician, Facilities Maintenance, and Pharmacy Technician. The program gives participants the opportunity to finish their high school education, gain hands-on experience with trained instructors, and start a real career or go to community college. PA CareerLink Delaware County: located in the Workforce Entry Center of the Delaware County Community College, 901 Media Line Road, Media, invites job seekers to come utilize the state-of-the-art Career Resource Center. Guests can meet the friendly and knowledgeable team, learn about career development and job search workshops, individual career counseling and assessment services, and training opportunities that may be available to them as Delaware County residents. Taylor Hospice: 300 Johnson Ave., Ridley Park, offers a bereavement support group from 6:30-8p.m. the third Tuesday of the month for any adult who has experienced the loss of a loved one. The group is open to all family members of a loved one served by Taylor Hospice and to those affected by grief within the community. There is no fee and no registration required. Upper Chichester Senior Citizens Club: presents Bob Lougheed as Elvis on Saturday, May 13, at the township Community Services Building, 1950 Market St. Doors open at 1 p.m., with lunch, beverages and desserts from 1:30-2:30 and an Elvis show from 2:30-3:30. 50/50 tickets are available for sale. Women Against Rape: Delaware County Women Against Rape has been providing services to victims of sexual assault and their significant others since 1974. The agency depends on the support of its volunteers to meet the needs of clients 24 hours a day. Services to victims include hospital/police interview accompaniment and telephone crisis intervention. Volunteers receive 40 hours of training to prepare them for their responsibilities and are asked to provide support at least twice a month for an evening or weekend shift.
