Alma Imperatric­e Carroll, 86, of Aston passed away peacefully on May 9, 2017 at her home. Born in Philadelph­ia and raised in Aston, she was the daughter of the late Michael A. and Alma Cann Imperatric­e and moved to her late residence in 1960.

Alma was a graduate of Media High School, class of 1949 and was employed by Flextron Industries as an Office Manager for over 20 years. She was a member of the Womens’ Republican Club of Aston, where she was the Treasurer. Alma was a member of the Aston Beechwood Fire Co. Ladies’ Auxillary, where she was a former secretary and Coffee Wagon Driver. Alma enjoyed painting ceramics, crocheting, knitting, casinos and spending time in her home in Rock Hall, MD. Most important was her loving and devoted family.

Alma was the loving wife of Ralph H. Carroll, her husband of 65 years; mother of Almarie Atwood; grandmothe­r to Melissa Ebright (Mike), Shannon Yarosz (Joshua), Denise DiRosato (Anthony) and Carrie Ross (Eric); great grandmothe­r to Michael, Tyler, Taylor, Lucy, Nico, Nathan and Aaron; and great great grandmothe­r to Jade.

Visitation: 10:00-11:00 AM Friday May 12, 2017 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 3551 Concord Road, Aston, PA 19014, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park.
