PERFECT STRANGERS

To the woman and her nephew who stopped on I-95 South in Delaware on April 5 to help my 89-yearold husband with his flat tire: Even though he has AAA, he did not have a cell phone to call for help. He decided to try to fix the flat himself. After trying unsuccessfully to get the tire off and being tired, he sat on the guardrail to wait for a policeman or someone to stop. Along came this angel of a woman and her nephew who knew that he needed help. This woman changed the tire and then followed my husband to the nearest gas station to get air in the tires. They both received refused the money my husband offered them but he insisted that they take it. They have restored my faith in strangers. God bless both of them and thank you so very, very much.

WHAT A LADY

I would just like to thank the lady at the Brookhaven Wawa who paid for my coffee last Monday morning. I had the app on my phone and apparently there was no money on it, so I had to run back out to my car to get cash. When I came back in, the cashier said that the lady behind me had already paid for it. Thank you very much to her.

DEER ME

I have a question: Can anybody could tell me how to keep the deer from eating my flowers? I’m a widow living by myself and I enjoyed planting my flowers, but last spring the deer ate all of my impatiens. Does anyone know how I can keep the deer from doing this? Thanks.

OUR CLUELESS YOUTH

The young population is addicted to high tech so bad it’s like being on drugs. They can’t think on their own. They can’t do nothing on their own. They don’t know how to cut grass on their own. They don’t know how a blow up a balloon on their own. We are in serious, serious trouble. Let’s get rid of high tech; start teaching common sense and the right way of life in our society.

FULL OF HOLES

Is there anybody working road maintenance in the City of Chester anymore? If you ride to the city, the streets are full of potholes like ditches that are ready to completely cave in. And Chester Park – my gosh, I’ve never seen it look so bad. I don’t when the last time they cut anything there. USED TO LOVE THE CITY

LEFT OF CENTER

The liberal media seems to always refer to the right as the extreme right when reporting the news, and this goes back to the saying: “Accusations without foundation are the reflection of self.” It has been reported that former President Jimmy Carter stated that he voted for Bernie Sanders. This is the same Bernie Sanders who spent his honeymoon in the Soviet Union. The only thing left for going extreme left is to vote for a card-carrying communist. In reality, it is the left who have going to the extreme. It is downright scary when a past president of the United States votes for an extreme radical left-wing thinker! JACKIE

WHO’S FAT NOW?

On more than one occasion during the sad tenure of Barack Obama’s presidency, he blasted the fat cats on Wall Street. Well, it has recently come to light that he be will delivering a speech for $400,000. Guess who’s going to be paying him? Those same fat cats that he blasted. On another note, Hillary Clinton needs wake up and realize that she’s as bad as yesterday’s mashed potatoes. She keeps trying to push yourself into the limelight when even most Democrats are sick of her.

BILL OF PARTICULARS

Regarding health insurance, it doesn’t matter if people can afford the premiums or not because once to get the bills from the hospitals or the doctors they may not be able to afford to pay them. I know someone who is in the hospital for at least seven days and the bill was out of this world. Everybody is so concerned about the premiums, they’re not thinking about how much services actually cost. CONCERNED

GET LOST, JIMMY

“Henny The Bartender,” Republicans know that Jimmy Kimmel is a liberal, so of course they’re not going to have any empathy for him.
