Robert Warren Fagan, age 80, a longtime resident of the Woodlyn section of Ridley Township and a proud veteran who was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2017.

Born in Scranton, Pa., he was the son of the late Joseph and Hannah Fagan.

Bob was a veteran of the Korean War and completed three tours in Vietnam serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He served 21 years in the Marine Corps until his retirement. He then worked as a security supervisor for various hotels in the area. He was a Life member of the Marine Corps League in Upland, Pa.

Bob was an avid sports fan and especially followed the Flyers and the Cleveland Browns. He also had an extreme interest in local and national politics and would always offer his opinion on important issues.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma F. Fa- gan; his son, Robert W. Fagan, Jr.; and his daughter, Elizabeth Cowan.

Bob is survived by his son, Michael P. Fagan; his daughter, Darlette Fagan; and his four grandchild­ren.

His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 24th, at 11 A.M. at the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, in Norwood, Pa. 19074. Friends may call on Wednesday from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. at the funeral home. His burial with full military honors will be in Prospect Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Prospect Park, Pa. following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributi­ons made in his memory to Providence Animal Center, 555 Sandy Bank Road, Media, Pa. 19063 would be appreciate­d.
