TAKE MY TV — PLEASE

I live in Ridley Township and I’m trying to give away a console TV. No one will take it. The township will not recycle it. How do I get rid of it? I appreciate any help.

ROAD TO RUIN

Guess what? They dug up that road again by Lawrence and Eagle roads. They had all tied up at the end of last week. They had it down to one and three-quarter lanes, and they left it all rough to drive over. Thankfully they waited for the hottest days now when people are really cool, calm and collected. I don’t know. Anyway, have a good day, Daily Times, and fellow drivers. MAGIC HIKE FROM HAVERTOWN

WHAT A MESS

When are people going to realize how bad Mackanin is? The players don’t hassle, they can’t bunt and the fielding has become bad. Also – worst of all – he can’t manage. Three times this year, I have watched him taking pitchers out with the lead and two outs in the fifth, and each time the pitcher he put in gave up the lead. Why not let the starter try to finish the inning? What does that do to their psyche if they can’t get the win? He stinks. Bring back Boa, because this team needs discipline.

SHADDUP, DEMS

You know what’s going on, don’t you? Remember that story of “The Boy Who Cried Wolf?” Well, that’s what the Democrats are doing. They’ve been hollering and screaming so long that something might matter and everybody is too tired to hear about it.

ALL HAIL CWA

I want to congratulate the Chester Water Authority board for thinking of their customers, something that’s not often done in business today. We have the best water going and the best prices, and therefore they’re thinking about the consumer first instead of profits – way to go.

CALL IT SEDITION

It is beyond comprehension that the majority of the world leaders show respect and homage to President Trump and did not show the same to Barack Obama. They must have seen through false veneer of the facade Barack Obama projected to his followers within the United States. Ironically these are the very same people who are trying breathlessly to bring down our duly elected president because they are so overwhelmed by the election loss of another false veneer façade candidate in Hillary Clinton. What they need to understand is if they continue with this seditious endeavor it is they who shall fall by the wayside of the highway of history covered by the dust of passing time, not President Trump. HANG ON, CWA

Chester Water Authority, please do not sell your business to Aqua of Pennsylvania. I had them when I lived in Media, and then I moved to Chester. My bill now is so affordable it’s ridiculous. It will be a hardship to many people. We like your services, we like your water, we like your customer service representatives, etc. Don’t ruin a good thing. DRY IN CHESTER

TRUMP IS THE WORST

A poll that said that 82 percent of Republicans think that Trump is doing a good job shows that these people are hardcore ideologues. They really believe that Trump is doing a good job. The facts say otherwise, though. The facts say that after a scant four months in office, Trump has proven that he’s the worst president at this country has ever had. Not only that, he oversees the most corrupt administration this country has ever seen, from Michael Kelly to Rex Tillerson to – most of all – Jeff Sessions. They have turned corruption into an art form.

TRUMP FOREVER

To the Democratic liberals and Republican RINO obstructionists, I say this: Lead, follow or get out of the way. Go Donald Trump! MARPLE MACK

THAT’S PARTICULAR

To “Bills Of Particulars,” here’s a quote: “We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.” Who said that? Democratic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi when the Obamacare bill was introduced. ELEPHANTS NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER FORGET
