M. Patrick Morris

M. Patrick Morris, age 78, of Lenni, PA, died Sunday, May 21, 2017. Mr. Morris was born and raised in Lima, PA, to the late William and Sarah Morris. He attended Nativity BVM Grade School in Media, PA, and graduated in 1957 from St. James Catholic High School for Boys, Chester, PA. During his high school years, Patrick worked at Weather’s Dodge. He was employed during his adult career by FMC Corp as Lab Supervisor and Lenni Products as Machine Operator.

Mr. Morris was a Life Member of the Lima Fire Company where he held the positions of Deputy Chief, Vice President, Director and Chief Engineer. He loved living in Lima and Lenni, enjoyed being part of a small town and was close to all of his neighbors who helped care for him over the years. Mr. Morris was an avid NASCAR fan. He was very proud of his sons and all his grandchildren.

Mr. Morris was the brother of the late, Marian Schwerdtfeger.

SURVIVORS: Sons: Kevin (Gaby) Morris of Malibu, CA; Dennis (Linda) Morris of Thornton, PA; and Brian (Cindy) Morris of Middletown, PA. Brothers: Bill (Betty) Morris of Columbus, OH and Tom Morris (the late Theresa Hendricks Morris) of Savannah, GA. Grandchildren: Kristen, Rocky, Megan, Dulcie, Molly, and Declan. Many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service: Thursday, May 25th at 11:00AM at Minshall ShropshireBleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Rds, Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063. Visitation: Wednesday, May 24th 6:00 - 8:00 PM and Thursday after 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Media PA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in his name to the Rocky Run Fire Co., 1147 W. Baltimore Avenue, Media, PA 19063.
