Joseph R. O’Toole, Sr 1932-2017 Margaret M. O’Toole (nee Hoban) 1932-2017 “It Started With a Snowball” Joe and Marge O’Toole, of Clifton Heights, PA, loving Parents, Grandparen­ts and Friends to all began their next life journey to be with the Lord on May 18th and May 23rd.

They lived a full life and were both born in Philadelph­ia where they attended Most Blessed Sacrament Grade School and West Catholic High School.

After Joe finished his service in the US Army, he and Marge married on June 9, 1956. Joe worked for the US Postal Service for 35 years. Marge worked in bookkeepin­g for ARCO, Rainer Vending and most recently Benner Paints. They devoted their lives to Family, Church and Community, serving as Coach, Scout Leader, Den Mother, Fundraiser­s, and Social Organizers for various Seniors Group activities.

Joe and Marge met when they were 14 years old and yes … she hit him with a snowball … and he kept coming back and together they wrote history through their legacy of Family, Friends and Community. Fittingly, they were married 61 years and departed for heaven together.

They are survived by their sons, Joe, John (Wendy), Mike (Nancy), Rob (Kim) and Jim (Michelle); 12 grandchild­ren as well as Marge’s brother, Gus Hoban and sister, Barbara Johnson.

There will be a Viewing, Saturday, May 27th at 9:30am in St. Eugene Church, 200 S. Oak Ave., Primos, PA 19018. The Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30am.

Burial will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
