Ruth N. Smith (nee Diggins)

Ruth N. Smith (nee Diggins), 96 of Ridley Park formerly of Folsom died at home on May 23, 2017.

She was the daughter of the late William and Mettie (nee Dodd) Diggins. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John W. Smith and siblings Evelyn Larkin, Lewis Diggins and Dorothy MacColl.

Mrs. Smith enjoyed sewing, crafts, traveling and spending time with her family.

She was the loving mother of Joan (nee Smith) Pepe (Frank) of Ridley Park, Bruce Smith (Linda) of Myrtle Beach, SC and the late Brett Smith, adoring grandmother to Doreen (nee Pepe) Naimoli (David) of Ridley Park, Kristy Smith (Bill Porter) of Deptford, NJ and Bruce Smith II (Megan) of Glenolden, great-grandmother to Samantha (nee Pepe) Elliott (John) of Media, Madison, Gavin, Evan, Colin and Cailin BauerSmith and Sage Favuzzi of Glenolden, Alexis, Miranda and Hunter Fuchs of Deptford, NJ and Liam Porter of Deptford, NJ, great-great grandmother to John D. Elliott, III of Media, Pa.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30-11:00 AM on Tuesday May 30, 2017 at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home 746 Kedron Ave. Morton, Pa 19070 followed by her Funeral Service.

Interment at Arlington National Cemetery will be at a later date.
