DONATE IT

To “Take My TV – Please,” have you ever thought about donating it to the Salvation Army or the Goodwill? That’s the only thing I can think of. I KNOW MY TV

WELCOME HOME

In the late ‘40s and ‘50s my parents had a business. First it was a food stand 10th and Columbia in North Philadelphia. We eventually we moved to the Delaware County. I didn’t return until my granddaughter’s recent graduation from Temple. Everyone on campus was so nice, from the doorman to the parking people, elevator people – I never before saw such professionalism. I had mixed emotions going back to the old neighborhood, but everybody at Temple made me feel welcomed back. I recently went up to New York City and had a great experience there. America is a great place as long as everyone treats one another with respect.

THANKS, FOLKS!

I’d like to thank the Chester Water Authority for having its customers best interest in mind when turning down the offer from Aqua water. STEVE FROM WALLINGFORD

ABOLISH THE MINIMUM WAGE

To “Give Us A Raise,” a 10-year-old child can understand this facet of economics. If you pay people $15 an hour, you have to raise prices of your product or go out of business. You also have to hire less people, so unemployment will go up. If you change the minimum wage to 0 the economy would improve tremendously. Remember, less than 3 percent of people make minimum wage. THERE THEY GO AGAIN

I read that Daylin Leach wants to runs against Pat Meehan. I have to hand it to the Democrats – they’re doubling down. Normal people would put up a centrist against an old-school Delaware County GOP moderate like Meehan, but they’re going with a guy who built his career around marijuana and appealing to elitist, weknow-better-than-you yuppies out there in Montco.

‘RICH’ AND DONNIE: PERFECT TOGETHER

“Rich In Concord” has no clue what he’s talking about. Our allies loved President Obama because he was intelligent, forthright and he tried to do what was best for everybody involved. They’re scared to death of Donald Trump because they know he’s stupid and very, very unstable. But “Rich” can’t see that Trump is unstable, and he’s probably as unstable as Trump.

FIX THAT MANHOLE COVER

Hey, Sharon Hill, between the laundromat and the Swiss Farms there is a manhole cover that makes a lot of noise when you hit it. People at borough hall have probably ridden over it and ignored it. Please, get someone from the state or borough or to repair that manhole cover. Also, Folcroft or Glenolden, I’m not sure, but in any case in front of the Produce Junction or a little ways down there is a sewer cover that is very loose and makes a lot of noise. CLUELESS IN ‘BOOTHWYN’

“Boothwyn” is so clueless that they think that the Democrats want to take away the First and Second Amendments. Well, first of all, Democrats can never take away the Second Amendment – it’s too entrenched. And second of all, it’s is people like Donald Trump who want to take away the First Amendment. They are trying to get rid of the press in this country because the press prints things the Donald Trump doesn’t like..

JUST THINK

I think the reason so many Democrats are calling Sound Off and having a meltdown is become they’re upset that a lifelong Democrat switched parties and got elected president, so now they have to watch from the outside in. Just think how much money the Clinton Foundation could have right now; how many executive branch resources could be unethically shifted to helping the DNC’s plans to recapture the seats and governorships they’ve been hemorrhaging for 10 years; how many cattle futures and land development deals – wait, she already tried and failed with those last two.
