D-DAY, REMEMBERED

With all the political arguing, badmouthing code enforcers and everything else in Sound Off, I hope everyone can agree on taking a moment to remember the 73rd anniversary of D-Day. JUST SAYING

HAD MY PHIL

I wish they would take off that “Dr. Phil” show. It’s nothing but a trashy program. He has a dirty mouth on there, which he should be banned. He supposed to be at doctor – well, I think he needs a doctor. I think the program stinks and so this all these other shows they have on the day, “Ellen” and all that. They’re nothing but a bunch of trash. Why they put on some good movies on the networks or something like they had in the old days? IRATE VIEWER

BLAME YOURSELF

Instead of blaming the Interboro School Board, “Taxed Out” should blame themselves and other seniors who keep voting Republican time after time, because Republicans at the state and federal levels are the ones who have been cutting education funding for a long time. And that is why Interboro and other places like it have to raise taxes to make up for the shortfall. But people like “Taxed Out” can’t get this through their heads.

KEEP IT SERIOUS

Andrew Tyndall, a news consultant, stated that Scott Pelley, evening news anchor, had a strict and steeling demeanor. I would rather watch someone like Scott Pelley than the constant annoying chortling of our local newscasters. If I want to watch a comedy show, I will tune in to a comedy hour. GET SERIOUS

ANOTHER CLOWN AT THE CIRCUS

That clown of a head of the EPA has proven that he’s unqualified as rest of Trump’s administration, because he recommended that Trump drop out the Paris Climate Accord. Anybody who was actually qualified would never have suggested that Trump should do that.

SANITATION, PLEASE

I was wondering when the people who were administering the new Chester Creek Trail are going to put in some portable toilets so eventually the trail won’t smell like a urinal. Thank you for your attention.

JAIL THEM ALL

To “Rich In Concord,” I wouldn’t exactly say that the Obama administration was disorganized, considering how well they sheltered Hillary, Eric Holder and other cabinet members and department heads who should have faced prosecution. AND THROW AWAY THE KEY

THE SINS OF BARRY

The Paris Accord was not a treaty; it was not ratified by the Senate. It was Obama’s doing – his globalist doing. He wants one nation – the world – to control everything. Just like the Iranian deal. There wasn’t any treaty there, just Obama giving them the bomb and billions of dollars. What a lousy president he was.

SELECTIVE REALITY

It’s funny how “Time To Catch Up” calls someone a fool and idiot yet they don’t seem to realize that consumer buying power has gone up during the same time frame that the minimum wage hasn’t significantly increased. Then again, maybe they do realize but since it doesn’t fit their narrative they choose to ignore it.

SHE’S BACK

“Who Cares About Hillary?” claims that Hillary Clinton has disappeared out of view and that rightwingers have an obsessive need to complain about her. I guess this caller considers turning a commencement address into a whining political rant to be disappearing out of view?

OH, JOY

John Kerry and Al Gore were recently accused of polluting the air when the tops of their heads blew off over Trump getting out of the Paris Climate Accord. I love it. MR. TOM IN LINWOOD
