LOVE THOSE LETTER CARRIERS

I agree with “Linwood P.O. Delivers.” With all the debate surrounding the postal service for the last couple of decades, I think the letter carriers deserve a big thank you for what they do with the Stamp Out Hunger food drive – and so do the people who contribute to it.

THE STATE OF THINGS

“Double Talk” must have missed the last 50plus years of jokes about every state department of transportation in the country always having a couple of “supervisors” in a road crew. I agree in principle that Trump’s statements over air traffic control are definitely open to critique, but state control of highways isn’t the greatest example to counter it. I don’t think privatizing state roads is a viable solution, but state DOTs could take a few cues from private industry.

FLIP OUT

To “Raise It And Weep,” do you really think it’s fair to have somebody who’s flipping burgers be paid just as much as someone who builds a house? NO

TRUMP = ANTIAMERICAN

To “Joanne,” it’s not just Ivanka. Donald Trump has his products made in China and Melania does, too. The whole family have their products made in China. “Buy American” and “hire American” are not for the Trumps.

LOWER THAN TRUMP?

I was watching the fake news organizations on television this week. They didn’t get what they wanted from the Comey hearings so they made up their own answers, read between the lines, repeated things that weren’t even said. No wonder they have the lowest approval rating lower out there – lower than lawyers, lower than used car salesman, lower than Congress. BOOTHWYN

BAN THE VOTE

“The Sins Of Barry” is one of these people who shouldn’t be allowed to vote. They don’t have a fact in their head, they get their so-called news from people who just tell them what to think and none of it is ever factual, and they keep repeating the stuff as it it’s the gospel truth.

GO MURPH

I see Phil Murphy, the great Democrat running for governor in New Jersey, wants to raise the minimum wage to $15 for the working people and the poor people – that’s great. It will be a cold day in hell before Trump raises the minimum wage for the working people – a typical rotten, rich Republican.

DRUNK WITH GREED

“Say ‘Bhaah’” shouldn’t sign off as a “A Typical Republican,” they should say “a typical, idiot Republican.” The tax that was passed was put on sugary drinks, not on the consumer. But the greedy corporations, instead of paying the tax themselves, are passing this pass on to the consumer by raising the prices of the products, even though they don’t have to because they’re still making a big profit from that. But you, being a typical, stupid Republican, think the corporations should be able to rip the consumer off left and right to cover the taxes that they should be paying.

POLE VAULT

Talk drinking the Kool Aid, “Meltdown – Ha Ha,” whoever voted for Trump really drank the Kool Aid. The Paris Accord is about climate and control. It’s about thinking about the future for our children, the planet, the rising oceans and disappearing Arctic and Antarctic. Do you think we can just plug in a refrigeration unit and refreeze the poles? And you’re right, it’s about money – all the Republicans and Donald Trump think about is money. My new name for him is “Donald Benedict Arnold Trump.” JUST SAYING IN ASTON

INNOCENCE IS BLISS

“And Throw Away The Key” is another clueless right-wingers because Hillary and Eric Holder were both investigated to the hilt because we had Republican control of Congress – but maybe you forgot that – and nothing was ever turned up. So they didn’t do anything illegal, and it was proven that they didn’t do anything illegal. But I think we’re going to have some people actually go to jail from the Trump administration, and you’ll be happy about that, won’t you? ONE WHO KNOWS
