Margaret V. (Miller) Bourquin

Margaret V. (Miller) Bourquin, age 84, of Swarthmore, PA, died Sunday, June 11, 2017, surrounded by her loving family.

Margaret was a graduate of GlenNor High School, Class of 1950. She was employed with Verizon, until her retirement.

Margaret was a longtime member of Woodlyn Baptist Church, where she decorated the church with seasonal flowers. Margaret was creative in her passion with flowers and won many awards with the Philadelphia Flower Show. Margaret enjoyed spending time at Ocean City, NJ Beach. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

Daughter of the late Ralph V. and Lillian (Debold) Miller; mother of the late Larry Bourquin and sister of the late Ralph V. Miller, Jr.

Survivors: Son: Lou (Jean) Bourquin. Daughters: Debbie (Jonathan) Jowanna and Margie (John) Scarcelli. Sister: Isabel Kase. Daughter-in-law: Dina Bourquin. Grandchildren: Jennifer, Brian, Michele, Cheryl, Ciara, Gianna, Nicholas, Francesca and Vincent. GreatGrandchildren: Grace, Finnley and Danny. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: Saturday, June 17th at 11:00AM at the Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063.

Visitation: Saturday, June 17th after 10:00AM at the funeral home. Interment: Private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Woodlyn Baptist Church, 1125 MacDade Blvd. Woodlyn, PA 19094.
