Dalesio caps Vapes’ five-run rally in the ninth

LifeSmokeV­apor.com puffed a little magic Tuesday, rallying for five runs in the ninth inning to claim an 8-7 victory over United Sports in a Brandywine Valley Senior Softball League game.

Mike Dalesio drove in the winning run. Ken Ross was 4-for-4, while Jim Finlan, Mike Shone and Chris Sclfani each collected three hits. BROTHERS PIZZA 11, BROWNS 9 » Ward Barnes drove in the winning run, Richie Kitchen cooked up three hits, and Richie Turner and Stuart Topel both delivered clutch knocks for Brothers. The Optimum Physical Therapy Legends got big hitting performanc­es from Charlie Harvey, Gary Zimmerman, Jack Freehoff, Gary Blair (him again?), Tom Daley and Bob Shemonsky en route to an 8-4 win over the Patriots. Jim Singel was the winning pitcher.

Suburban Women’s Slow

Amanda Malin roped a three-run triple and recorded the win from the circle as Bud’s Cafe defeated Marty Magee’s, 17-12.

Danielle Vitelli crushed a three-run homer and Kristina Simpson belted a solo dinger. APPCO’S SPORTS WORLD/DUKE’S 18, DOLAN’S 4» Cindy Rabideau paced the offense with five hits and three RBIs. Danielle Fagan added three hits and five ribbies, while current Penncrest varsity coach Jamie Mingis chipped in with three knocks. Vicky Pecunia was the winning pitcher.

Marty Byrne launched a three-run homer as part of a 3-for-3, five-RBI night as Frankie’s on Fairview bludgeoned Hunt’s Annex, 15-1.

Winning hurler Dan Naugle ripped a tworun triple to highlight a nine-run second inning. Bobby Bresichaft four runs scored.

In a doublehead­er of Milmont Republican Club franchises, appropriat­ely dubbed “the inner-bar battle,” MRC notched a pair of wins over MWO, 19-11 and 18-8.

In Game 1, Kenny Elkind went 4-for-5 with a homer and four runs scored out of the leadspot spot. Mike Morrissey went 3-for-3 with a homer, Jim Cap was 4-for-4 with five RBIs and winning pitcher Joe Pac added three knocks.

In the nightcap, Kevin Kelly and Bobby Pettit each homered while CJ Boyle (four RBIs) and Rich Kearns (three runs) both finished 3-for-3.
